Let the sun set ...

and rise
Two boys watched the sun set off the California coast.
The 6-year-old found it so captivating that he said,
“Please, God, don’t let it go down.”

The older boy said to him, “Stevie, it has to go down so it

can come up again on the other side of the world. The
people there need it, too.”

As Ecclesiastes 1:5 (NRSV) says, “The sun rises and the

sun goes down, and hurries to the place where it rises.”

May & June COINS for
NOTHING But NETS
Malaria Kills....Malaria is particularly devastating in Africa, where it is a leading killer of
children. In fact, there are 10 new cases of malaria every second. Every 45 seconds, a child in
Africa dies from a malaria infection.
Malaria is also the number one killer of refugees in Africa. Nothing But Nets™ is working
closely with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to send urgently-needed insecticide-
treated bed nets to more than one million refugees in 15 countries
Long-Lasting Insecticide-Treated Bed Nets
Although $10 for a bed net may not sound like much, the cost makes them out of reach for most
people at risk of malaria, many of whom survive on less than $1 a day. Nets are a simple, life-
saving solution, but we need your help to provide them to those in need. Join us now.
Send a net and save a life.

THREE BRIDGES
JUNE 12, 2011 6:30PM

Three Bridges music is rooted in traditional "southern gospel"

and "black gospel%quot; music. This blended style has made
Three Bridges one of the prominent internationally-acclaimed Gospel
groups in Christian music today — a group known for tight harmony,
a unique vocal style, an exciting energy packed stage presentation, and,
most importantly, for spreading the joy of being a Christian.
Following the release of the critically acclaimed 2002 album, titled "Soldiers",
Three Bridges has wowed packed out venues across the world, everywhere
from gospel singing, business conventions, churches, political meetings,
TV shows, charitable relief events, and all the way to Air Force One.
They have appeared on several Bill Gaither "Homecoming Video’s" and were
special guest on a video for the United Nation.
