Explain the relevance of the course and the key concepts of common competencies.
CONTENT STANDARD:
The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts underlying principles and core
competencies in Entrepreneurship
PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
The learner independently creates/provides a quality and marketable product and/or
service in Entrepreneurship.
I. OBJECTIVES:
a. define Entrepreneurship;
b. explain the key concepts of common competencies in Entrepreneurship; and
c. cite a real life situation that is relevance to the course.
III. PROCEDURE:
A. EXPLORE:
- THINK PAIR SHARE. Get a partner and discuss about the picture.
C. DEEPEN:
- Learners will answer the question.
What are the difference of entrepreneurship and entrepreneur?
What are usefulness of the course to the students?
What are the common competencies of entrepreneurship?
What are the competencies foe entrepreneurial success?
D. TRANSFER:
As an entrepreneurship student based from our discussion:
- What entrepreneurial competencies do you need to have to become a
successful entrepreneur?
- What is the difference between a businessman and an entrepreneur?
IV. EVALUATION:
1. What are the qualities that you possess as an entrepreneurship student? Give at
least five (5) qualities and explain.
2. Among those qualities, rank them with 1 as the highest and 5 as the weakest
quality.
3. What are the benefits of studying entrepreneurship to students?
V. ASSIGNMENT:
a. Follow Up:
You saw your classmate who was inside the faculty room alone using your
teacher’s computer. Your teacher never allows anyone to be in the faculty room
unattended. Your classmate looked up, saw you and knew you saw him. A few
days later, it was found out that confidential files have been lost and everyone is
being questioned. Should you reveal what you saw? Which is a better example of
integrity: being honest or being loyal to a friend?
