    LEARNING COMPETENCY:
     Explain the core competencies in entrepreneurship.

    CONTENT STANDARD:
     The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts underlying principles and core
    competencies in Entrepreneurship.

    PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
     The learner independently creates/provides a quality and marketable product and/or
    service in Entrepreneurship.

    I. OBJECTIVES:
    a. define Entrepreneurial Competencies;
    b. explain the core competencies in Entrepreneurship; and
    c. describe the factors that affect the entrepreneurial decision making process.

    II. SUBJECT MATTER:


    A. Topic: Core Competencies in Entrepreneurship
    B. References: Quipper Study Guide
    C. Materials: Laptop and Power Point Presentation

    III. PROCEDURE:

    A. EXPLORE:
    Activity name: Rate me!
    I will flash different pictures/logos of fast food that our common to our
    province and rate their products and services according to your
    experience. 10 is the highest and 1 is the lowest.

    B. FIRM UP:
    - The teacher and the learners will have an interactive discussion about the
    following:
    a. About their best/worst experiences in eating in a fast food
    b. What are the factors that develop entrepreneurial activity?
    c. What does SWOT means in entrepreneurship
    d. An entrepreneur must be equipped with the following core competencies
    so that his planned business will really stand out among other
    competitors.

    C. DEEPEN:
    - Learners will answer the question.
    Explain the meaning of the following statements.
    - Entrepreneur as a missionary. 
    - Entrepreneur as a marketing man. 
    - Entrepreneurs are goal-driven. 
    - Entrepreneurs start from small to big. 
    - Entrepreneur is excellent in obtaining resources.

    D. TRANSFER:
    Explain your point of view on the saying (10 points)

    IV. EVALUATION:
    ESSAY (45 Points in Total)
    Directions: Answer all of them. For each questions, provide short and concise
    answers with some relevant examples for clarification, if necessary:
    1. Why do core competencies matter to every business and entrepreneur?
    2. How do entrepreneurs determine the core competency of their business? 
    3. Why are entrepreneurial competencies considered as entrepreneurial distinctive?
