    I would always, always start with a non-formal help. Someone like a


    friend, a family member, a teacher, a priest, or someone you trust
    will have your best interests at heart.Why? Because you will
    probably get the most honest, heartfelt, sincere, and caring
    response you could expect.A formal help is more academic, doesn’t
    know you as well (hence might not have the complete picture), and
    may require payment, formal meetings and a more analytical and
    cold evaluation of your problem.

    Having said that, if you have a serious (real) depression, a medical


    problem, or something that requires a technical, professional or
    specialized support, indubitably go the formal route

    HOW ARE THEY ALIKE?

    they're both social science. Semantically, “applied” social science has


    less scientific theory and more application than “pure” social science. But in
    practice, they can appear to be the same. Social science develops the
    tools; applied social science uses them.

    H HOW ARE THEY DIFFERENT?

    Applied science is a
    discipline that used to apply existing scientific knowledge based
    on scientific researches and also to developing a practical
    application of science such as technology, methodology,
    inventions.

    study of human behavior, relationship with other human in
    terms of emotions, psychologic, the impact of belief to
    environment based on scientific research
