    Language Arts:

    We read a fantasy story called On The Way To The Pond

    We are working on sequencing

    Writers Workshop- We are writing a personal narrative on a first in our lives. We wrote about Groundhog Day predications.

    Grammar-We learned about plural nouns and adding s to nouns to mean more than one.

    We learned about the Bossy R triplets (r-controlled vowels)

    Please practice the spelling of the weekly word wall words with your child-many students are reading them correctly,
    however still spelling incorrectly.
    Math:

    We learned about patterns in numbers through 100

    We learned about multiples of 10

    We practice 10 more/10 less

    We learned to add and subtract 2 digit numbers

    We have finished Unit 5 and will be testing on Monday. (I will share the last couple assessments at conferences)
    Social Studies/Science

    We are continuing to explore sounds

    We learned about vibration by using drums and rubber bands.


    Technology

    We practiced this weeks math skills using IXL
