In this paper, Internet of Things along with facial recognition is used to detect the faces of people by making use of the camera and Passive Infrared sensor (PIR) and camera. The PIR sensor and the camera are mounted to a computer system. The sensor gets notified by the movement of the person which then triggers the camera. The camera captures the images and detects the face by making use of Facial Recognition algorithm of the computer system. This information is then sent to the concerned person, via mail on their smart phones or computer, by taking advantage of the facilities provided by IOT.

So there is need of deploying these smart surveillance cameras and security systems around the globe. With the high increasing demand for intelligent security surveillance cameras, various researches have been undergoing in a detection system for pre-processing, manipulation and interpretation of video frames and images. The detection process contains analysis of both static and dynamic images to continuous monitor the area for security. Different tracking techniques have been developed with a capability to detect as well as recognize the object in real time scenarios. Tracking of an object and its various associated issues such as extraction of object features, analyzing shape of the object and analyzing object position are the active areas of research. The researchers are continuously proposing new efficient algorithms to enhance the system capability for tracking the suspicious different types of object in motion and extracting the attributes to analyze the object properties if there is a weapon present in the scene or not. The proposed hybrid neural network system combines the learning capabilities of neural networks for nonlinear function approximation. The accuracy and efficiency of the system is detected by different objective as well as subjective parameters for evaluation purposes.

Photographic companies in the United States, Japan and Germany share several characteristics, one of which is the palpable impact of wars in the 20th century. In this paper, I address from the perspective of the companies the impact of war in three areas. First is the early technological development in the industry in particular the contributions of American and German firms to photographic film and to the development of modern, hand-held camera and high quality optics. Knowledge of optics technology was imported into Japan in the early 1900s by various means when the First World War interrupted supplies of German cameras and lenses to Japan. Second, I trace the evolution of the industry during the Second World War taking into account the influence of government policy that directed companies to produce military-use photographic technologies. Without the benefit of radar in the Axis countries, optics enjoyed continuous technological improvement in addition to favour from the German and Japanese military governments. Finally, I analyse the post World War Two developments in the industry including government economic recovery policy that spurred peacetime expansion of the industry. In this light, sales of photographic equipment to military personnel stationed in occupied Japan and Germany played and important role. Regional wars in Asia including the Korean War and the Vietnam War affected world trade such that professional war photographers substituted German products with Japanese ones. Their positive reviews of Japanese technology helped shape what became a predominantly favourable opinion of Japanese goods, which in the early post war years were considered inferior to German products. Although much of the early technological influence in the photographic industry travelled from the United States and Germany to Japan, in the latter half of the 20th century the direction reversed in, for example, the incorporation of advanced materials and electronics into production processes. War and its impact were perhaps the most influential in that reversal.

In der Epoche der Aufklärung symbolisierte das Auge der Vernunft eine selbstüberwachende Idee. Derzeit wurden Staat und Gesetz mit einem allsehenden Auge identifiziert. Den ikonografischen Ursprung hierzu bildet das religiöse Symbol vom Auge Gottes. Dieses „Auge“, das alle Aktionen und Gedanken eines Christen erfasst, übte, als unsichtbare Instanz, eine mächtige Wirkung auf den Gläubigen aus. Sei es Gott, Staat oder Technik – konstant bei dieser Genealogie bleibt der psychologische Druck einer unüberprüfbar höheren Instanz.

Raghu Rai-An Unframed Portrait (2017, 55 minutes) is a film made by Avani Rai and is executive produced by Anurag Kashyap and Iikka Vehkalahti. Among its many screenings in India and abroad, the film was screened at Goethe Max Mueller Bhawan, Kolkata on 28th of November in 2018 and shows the developing relationship between the two as the daughter follows the father in hopes of understanding the person through his work and through time. Dans cet article, je souhaite revenir sur le concept d''individuation intermédiale', développé dans mon ouvrage "L'Acteur et l'intermédialité" (2011).  Il me permet de révéler des nuances dans l'interaction " acteur/technologie " dans les spectacles utilisant des dispositifs technologiques, en confirmant l'impact indiscutable des écrans sur ce type de créations. Je me concentrerai sur le travail des acteurs avec la caméra et sur les interdépendances qui se produisent lors de l'utilisation du monologue intérieur. J'illustrerai ma réflexion par des exemples tirés de la performance "Salle d'attente", mise en scène par Krystian Lupa. Dans ce cas, la présence de la caméra et de l'écran fait partie de l'esthétique de la création, mais elle devient également indissociable du processus de création. Le 'monologue intérieur' est le fondement du travail de Lupa, et se mêle, depuis 2009, à la captation de la caméra que le metteur en scène a baptisée " screen test ", en s'inspirant de la démarche d'Andy Warhol.  Cet exercice, dans sa dimension traditionnelle, apparaît ici sous un jour nouveau, en présence de l'œil de la caméra qui enregistre et gagne des spécificités intermédiales, en se situant à l'intersection du théâtre et de l'art vidéo.

In  this  article,  I  would  like  to  return  to  the  concept  of  'intermedial  individuation',  developed  in  my  book  'L’Acteur  et  l’intermédialité'  (2011).  It  allows  me  to  reveal  nuances  in  the  interaction  “actor/technology”  in  shows  using  technology  components,  by  confirming  the  indisputable impact of  screens on that type of  creations. I will focus on the work of  actors with the camera and on the interdependencies, that occur during the use of  inner monologue. I will illustrate my consideration with examples from the performance 'Salle d’attente', staged by Krystian Lupa. In this case, the presence of  camera and of  screen is  part  of  the  creation’s  aesthetic,  but  also  inseparably  part of  the creation process. The inner monologue is the foundation  of  Lupa’s  work,  and  is  intertwined,  since  2009,  with  the  camera’s  capture  that  the  director  named  “screen  test”,  inspired  by  Andy  Warhol’s  approach.  This  exercise, in its traditional dimension, appears here under a new light, in the presence of  the capturing eye, and gains intermedial specificities, by being set on the intersection of  theatre and video art.

This mirrors today's world. We cannot notice changes around us but an evolution is actually happening. We can see these big changes if we compare things from the past and the present.

Liquid Model High pressure A B S T R A C T A new empirical equation for liquid heat capacity calculation, as a function of temperature and pressure is recommended. This four-parameter equation was tested and compared to the four-parameter equation developed by Guseinov et al. (1988), five-parameter equation developed by Garg et al. (1993) and nineparameter equation developed by Nakagawa et al. (1993), using 73 sets with 4395 literature experimental heat capacity data for 46 chemical compounds. The obtained results indicate that the proposed four-parameter equation gives in many cases better results than the tested four-and fiveparameter equations and in few cases even better than the nine-parameter equation.

The paper presents a smart approach for a real time inspection and selection of objects in continuous flow. Image processing in today's world grabs massive attentions as it leads to possibilities of broaden application in many fields of high technology. The real challenge is how to improve existing sorting system in the modular processing system which consists of four integrated stations of identification, processing, selection and sorting with a new image processing feature. Existing sorting method uses a set of inductive, capacitive and optical sensors do differentiate object color. This paper presents a mechatronics color sorting system solution with the application of image processing. Image processing procedure senses the objects in an image captured in real-time by a webcam and then identifies color and information out of it. This information is processed by image processing for pick-and-place mechanism.The Project deals with an automated material handling system. It aims in classifying the colored objects by colour, size, which are coming on the conveyor by picking and placing the objects in its respective pre-programmed place. Thereby eliminating the monotonous work done by human, achieving accuracy and speed in the work. The project involve sensors that senses the object's colour, size and sends the signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller sends signal to circuit which drives the various motors of the robotic arm to grip the object and place it in the specified location. Based upon the detection, the robotic arm moves to the specified location, releases the object and comes back to the original position.

At this decade, the need of monitoring systems in every field is increase rapidly. Many of monitoring systems is applied to improve the security systems as well as the productivities. The implementation always based on the need to keep watch and record all activities that occurs in one location with purpose that if something emergency is happening, we can know and handle it immediately. A building is one of the place that very important to keep save if there are much valuable stuff. Surveillance systems that currently using is operator surveillance camera where many of error factor from human being is unprecise so it is not very efficient to get a maximum result. A surveillance system using camera that can detect the motion as well as record the motion automatically is a alternative method to improve the efficiency where it will more save memory and there is no operator. This paper is describe how to detect the motions and record them using opencv library with web camera. The method used background subtraction and frame differencing technique.

The world needs to pay attention to children who often become victims of violence and cannot escape social problems. Various safety devices that are commonly known as smart wearable devices have been created, but they still have many shortcomings. Thus, in this research a safety device that can be held by children is designed and is equipped with a button that can be pressed, then it will automatically send the location and photo of the scene to the parent's cellphone via the telegram application. It uses the raspberry pi zero W controller, the GNSS HMC5983 SAW LNA GPS Module to determine the location, and the 5MP raspberry Pi Zero camera module to capture the incident. Based on the results, the average time needed to share locations is 0.91 seconds, and the average time needed to capture is 11.57 seconds, if the device and receiving cellphone use the same network. Additionally, the average time needed to share locations is 0.96 seconds, and the average time needed to capture is 12.09 seconds, if the device and receiving cellphone use a different network. Both conditions have 97.5% location accuracy rate and 100% photo accuracy rate.

The contribution of agriculture plays the major role in India's economic growth. In some areas water is very critical resource for farmers & its optimal use is deciding factor for farm yield, so timely utilization of this resources is the need of today's world. A large portion of farming and agricultural activities are based on the predictions as the farmer use pesticides and the water supply on timing base to maintain the plant growth & quality, but its overuse may impact cost of yield & also the health of consumer. This happened due to farmer could not understand Real time soil & crop condition. So, with this project farmer will know the real time information of soil condition & provide pests attack on the plant & its classification on base of data available. The implementation of this project will be step ahead of utilization of advance technology in farming which provide Real time information from Farm & will help farmer to optimize their resources to accelerate their business to be a more profitable.

Dalam dunia industri, gudang merupakan suatu fasilitas yang berfungsi sebagai lokasi penyimpanan dan pendistribusian barang dari pemasok sampai ke pengguna. Barang yang dipindahkan jumlahnya banyak dan bermacam-macam jenis, jadi dapat berupa barang-barang kecil yang didistribusikan ke pengguna. Dalam pendistribusian barang ke pengguna dapat dilakukan dengan alat bantu berupa troli. Penggunaan troli dalam gudang saat ini masih menggunakan tenaga manusia untuk menjalankannya, dengan menggunakan tenaga manusia sebagai pendorong menyebabkan manusia cepat lelah dan kurangnya efisiensi waktu dalam pendistribusian barang. Dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan solusi dalam meringankan kerja manusia dan meningkatkan efisiensi waktu. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan troli yang dapat bergerak mengikuti manusia secara otomatis. Agar dapat memenuhi kriteria tersebut, maka Troli Otomatis Berbasis Arduino ini mampu mendeteksi arah pergerakan manusia dan dapat mengetahui jarak troli dengan penghalang disekitarnya untuk menghindari terjadinya benturan. Pendeteksian arah ini ditujukan agar troli dapat mengikuti manusia, sedangkan pengukuran jarak ditujukan agar kecepatan dan manuver dapat terkontrol. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan kamera pixy. Untuk pengukuran jarak, ultrasonic transmitter terletak berdampingan dengan ultrasonic receiver. Sedangkan untuk mendeteksi arah pergerakan, kamera pixy yang terletak pada bagian depan troli akan mendeteksi kombinasi warna pada rompi sebagai lock identitas pengguna sehingga dapat mengikuti arah gerak pengguna. Troli juga harus mampu melaju hingga kecepatan maksimum manusia berjalan yaitu rata-rata 1m/s.

Abstract
In the industrial world, the warehouse is a facility that serves as a location for storage and distribution of goods from the supplier to the user. Goods are moved many and various types, so it can be small items that are distributed to users. In the distribution of goods to the user can be done with tools such as a trolley. The use of the trolley in the warehouse is still using manpower to run it, using human power as a spur to human causes rapid fatigue and lack of time efficiency in the distribution of goods. With the development of today's technology can be utilized to deliver the solution to alleviate human labor and improve efficiency. Therefore, it takes a trolley that can move automatically to follow the man. In order to meet these criteria, then the Trolley Automatic Based on Arduino is able to detect the direction of movement of people and can figure out the distance to the barrier surrounding the trolley to avoid the collision. The detection direction is intended to allow the trolley can follow a human, while the distance measurement speed and maneuvers intended to be controlled. This can be done by using the camera pixy. For distance measurement, ultrasonic transmitter located adjacent to the ultrasonic receiver. As for detecting the direction of movement, pixy camera located on the front of the trolley will detect color combination lock on a vest as a user's identity so as to follow the direction of motion of the user. Trolleys should also be capable of driving up to a maximum speed of human walk an average of 1m / s.

This paper presents the prototyped design of a wireless sensor network for shrimp pool in aquaculture. The system design in this paper includes a Raspberry Pi 3connected to Arduino Uno, Zbee S2C module, temperature sensor and other devices like Fan, aerator, light, DC motor and camera. These results of this help farmer log in apache server to check the temperature and manage the pool by auto-turn-on Fan when it is hot or turn on/off the aerator by the internet, control DC motor in 100m by Zigbee protocol or capture picture every 5 seconds to look at their pool when they are far away.

Crops are vulnerable to wild animals the conservation of crop field has become now a days a complex issue. Therefore, it is very important to monitor the presence of animals which may affect the crop on wider level. The animals from the protected area are continuously attacking the crop field over the years and the protection of this crop field has become a main concern`. The issue has been addressed in such way that already being used is ineffective, in this paper we propose a method to protect farms from wild animals so creating a system which in accordance of the animals like (deer, nilgai, wild boar, etc.). To detect the animal and creates the different sound that irritates the animal and animal will run away and also alerts the authorized person by sending a message. The proposed monitoring scheme is to provide an early warning about possible intrusion and damage by wild animals. We also provides way of identification animal so that in accordance with particular geographical area it has been monitored that which types of animal are present mostly in concern area.

In this brilliant doorbell we will put a unique fingerprint sensor which will detect the guest and declare his/her name that the individual in supervision is the guest and if his information is present in the database and if the guest is new he should get enrolled. The camera will click pictures of individuals whose information in not present and attempted to go into the house.

Inspired by the astonishing and unprecedented speed and scale of uptakes of the camera, this study seeks to unravel the behavioral aspects surrounding young people’s adoption and consumption of the device. Because the camera is associated with specific social practices characteristic of a specific ‘way of life’ of a distinct set of people, it is considered here as a ‘cultural commodity’ significant of the society of present times. In light of this, the present study addresses the reasons for adoption from both functional and symbolic perspectives. Comparison with traditional cameras and other referent technologies has shown that, while the present day digital camera is seen as a superior substitute for traditional cameras due to the unique experience that it provides, it is less so in terms of the substitution potentials of the device in relation to more established forms of personal technologies, such as the computer and smartphones. This study is a small contribution to the understanding of human adoption and consumption behavior of new technologies and the wider cultural and social aspects surrounding the camera as a personal communication device.

Using the media images from the exhibition 'The New Woman Behind the Camera' at the National Gallery of Art, Washington (31st October, 2021 - 30th January, 2022) as a starting point, this text examines the (in)visibility of the "New Woman" behind the camera. The text briefly investigates the disenfranchisement of women in 19th century through the work of George Sand and Camille Claudel; the role of the female flâneuse and the rise of the suffragettes; the relationship between two women and two men; a story; the work of two women photographers (Germaine Krull and Claude Cahun) who through photography challenged the representation of gender identity; a Zen proposition, and the particular becomes universal – in order to understand how artists, both female and male, find integrity on their chosen path.

The Andean cat (Leopardus jacobita) is one of the most endangered, yet least known, felids. Although the Andean cat is considered at risk of extinction, rigorous quantitative population studies are lacking. Because physical observations of the Andean cat are difficult to make in the wild, we used a camera-trapping array to photo-capture individuals. The survey was conducted in northwestern Argentina at an elevation of approximately 4,200 m during October-December 2006 and April-June 2007. In each year we deployed 22 pairs of camera traps, which were strategically placed. To estimate detection probability and density we applied models for spatial capture-recapture using a Bayesian framework. Estimated densities were 0.07 and 0.12 individual/km 2 for 2006 and 2007, respectively. Mean baseline detection probability was estimated at 0.07. By comparison, densities of the Pampas cat (Leopardus colocolo), another poorly known felid that shares its habitat with the Andean cat, were estimated at 0.74-0.79 individual/km 2 in the same study area for 2006 and 2007, and its detection probability was estimated at 0.02. Despite having greater detectability, the Andean cat is rarer in the study region than the Pampas cat. Properly accounting for the detection probability is important in making reliable estimates of density, a key parameter in conservation and management decisions for any species.

It suggests the expansive reach of Tret'iakov's "operative-eye" as a model practice beyond his death.

Camera-based Interactive Touch Screen is a touch detection technique that uses a camera to provide a large display with very high spatial and temporal resolutions. The conventional touch screen technology and presentation methods face a range of restrictions. However, the camera-based touch detection can overcome all these restrictions and turn projection screens into interactive touch displays, creating a through-window experience. It uses a coated sheet of glass as the projection surface to form a two-dimensional display. The camera captures images of the projection surface continuously, which are processed by the Atmega16 microcontroller. A UART module connected to the microcontroller, provides asynchronous serial communication with external devices, synchronisation of the serial data stream and recovery of data characters. This technology has several advantages over other touch detection technologies, such as its low cost, simple design and scalable structure. The applications of this technology include advertising, presentations and outdoor displays.
