This necessitates our need to develop an advanced security system which is the EYE. It is basically a single camera based security system that can be used to protect valuables kept in a room of a house or prope In this contemporary era, belongings crimes are extra most important. This necessitates our want to expand a complicated protection system which is the INVISIBLE EYE. It is largely a single digicam based totally security gadget that can be used to defend valuables kept in a room of a house or belongings[3,4]. Most existing digicam based protection structures involve the use of more than one cameras located around the room to be monitored. These cameras continuously file video footage of the room and store it on a relevant.

The increasing rate of crime, attacks by thieves, intruders and vandals, despite all forms of security gadgets and locks still need the attention of researchers to find a permanent solution to the well being of lives and  properties of individuals. To this end, we design a cheap and effective security system for buildings, cars, safes, doors and gates,so as to prevent unauthorized person from having access to ones properties through the use of codes, we therefore experiment the application of electronic devices as locks.However, a modular approach was employed in the design in which the combination lock was divided into units and each unit designed separately before being coupled to form a whole functional system. During the design, we conducted Twenty tests with the first eight combinations being four in number, the next seven tests being  five and the last five combinations being six. This was done because of the incorporation of 2 dummy switches in the combinations. From the result obtained, combinations 8, 11, 13 gave the correct output combination. However, 8 being the actual combination gave the required output. The general operation of the system and performance is dependent on the key combinations. The overall system was constructed and tested and it works perfectly.

Detecting pedestrians in low resolution videos is a challenging task, due to the small size of pedestrians in the images and the limited information. In practical outdoor surveillance scenarios the pedestrian size is usually small. Existing state-of-the-art pedestrian detection methods that use histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) features have poor performance in this problem domain. To compensate for the lack of information in a single frame, we propose a novel detection method that recognizes pedestrians in a short sequence of frames. Namely, we take the single-frame HOG-based detector and extend it to multiple frames. Our detector is applied to regions containing potential moving objects. In the case of video taken from a moving camera on an aerial platform, video stabilization is first performed to register the frames. A classifier is then applied to features extracted from spatio-temporal volumes surrounding the potential moving objects. On challenging stationary and aerial video datasets, our detection accuracy outperforms several state-of-the-art algorithms.

The paper focuses on the algorithms of the event detection in content-based video retrieval. Video has a complex structure and can express the same idea in different ways. This makes the task of searching for video more complicated. Video titles and text descriptions cannot give the whole information about objects and events in the video. This creates a need for content-based video retrieval. There is a semantic gap between low-level video features, that can be extracted, and the users’ perception. The task of event detection is reduced to the task of video segmentation. Complex content-based video retrieval can be regarded as the bridge between traditional retrieval and semantic-based video retrieval. The properties of video as a time series are described. Introduced the concept of anomalies in the video. A method for event detection based on comparing moving averages with windows of different sizes is proposed. According to the classification given at the beginning of this article, our method refers to statistical methods. It differs from other methods with low computational complexity and simplicity. The video stream processing language is proposed for function-based description of video handling algorithms. So, our method is formulated in the form of a declarative description on an interpreted programming language. Unfortunately, most of the existing video processing methods use exclusively imperative approach, which often makes understanding more difficult. Examples of the use of this language are given. Its grammar is described too. As shown by experiments, the implementation of the proposed video events retrieval method, unlike their counterparts, can work for video streams too with a real-time and potentially infinite frame sequences. Such advantages within low computational requirements make implementation of the method helpful in aviation and space technology. The algorithm has some disadvantages due to necessity parameter selection for particular task classes. The theorem on near-duplicates of video is formulated at the end of the article. It asserts the near-duplicate videos express the same sequence of phenomena.

The ultrasonic motion detector devices emit ultrasonic sound energy into an area of interest (monitored area), and this further reacts to a change in the reflected energy pattern. The system uses a technique that is based on a frequency shift in reflected energy to detect a movement or change in position (motion). In this system, ultrasonic sound is transmitted from the transmitting device which is normally in the form of energy. The transmitted sound utilizes air as its medium and this travel in a wave type motion. The wave is reflected back from the surroundings in the room/hallway and the device hears a pitch characteristic of the  protected environment. In this system, the wave pattern is disturbed and reflected back more quickly, thus increasing the pitch and signaling an alarm whenever motion is detected. The main contribution of this work is the design of a circuit that can sense motion through movement of anything, a low cost and  portable motion detector, and thedesignof a circuit that can be used to trigger another circuit whether to ON or OFF depending on the circuit attached to it. Generally, the design is made to detect movement or moving object in a an enclosed area. In this work, a transmitter transducer generates a signal at a  frequency of 40khz, and when the signal is blocked by any moving object, and this in turn, triggers a buzzer via a timing circuit. This system works on the principle of the signal interference by a moving body, and the system is dependent on the presence of an intruder or moving object within a monitored area. The system after design and construction was tested and found to work in accordance with specifications.

Abstract: As the capabilities of mobile phones are increasing, developers are able to create more complex applications on them. Nowadays, mobile phones support several networking technologies which allowes to create cooperative networks from them; this way mobile phones can work together in order to reach a common goal. We have created an application, called MobSensor, which basically turns the mobile phone into a motion and noise detector. MobSensor has also networking functions and it allowes to connect multiple mobile phones to each other. With the help of our solution we can create a cooperative sensor network from mobile devices running MobSensor. The paper discusses the architecture, the algorithms and the performance of MobSensor and it also examines its requirements.
