Nowadays, the most important problem in Islamic world is Takfiri Movements to disunite Muslims. In fact, takfiri groups kill Muslims in Iraq, Lebanon, Suriah, and other Islamic regions. The movement is not only influence Middle East countries, but also Indonesia. In this year, takfiri groups in Indonesia declared to support ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syam) in Fathullah Mosque, Ciputat; even they hung ISIS’s black flag in every moment. Then, they send many members to support ISIS in Iraq. It is just one case, in other side takfiri groups in Indonesia focused on effort to divide Sunni and Shia. Finally, it makes bad influence on social-political atmosphere in every region particularly, and Islamic world universally. Gilad Atzmon, is Judaism author who criticized Israel and supported Palestine, said that “We are Palestinian and we have same enemy, that is Israel (Zionist). The disorder of Middle East, include war in Iraq and Syria is Zionist agenda. Ironically, mostly Muslim (supported by media) makes propaganda that conflict in both countries as “Jihad”. Why they don’t jihad toward Zionist that attack Palestine? Are not they thinking deeply? Moreover, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that the enemy has been working to make the Islamic world neglect Palestine by creating differences, promoting extremism and deviations in the name of Islam, religion and Sharia; and have a number of Muslims declare the majority of Muslims apostates. He continued that the existence of Takfiri Movements in the Islamic world has been good news for the arrogance and enemies of Islam. In addition, many researchers reveal that Zionist and Imperialist supported Takfiri Movements. Then, it indicates that takfiri groups and Zionist-Imperialist groups have mutualism symbiosis. They consider that Islam is the biggest enemy that threaten existence them. In fact, Islamic Phobia which spread by them, through manipulation cooperated with Islamic Takfiri, make Western society curious on Islam. So, Zionist-Imperialist need Takfiri each other to support their interest. Furthermore, Takfiri groups are representation of Zionist-Imperialist. Takfiri’s terror causes profit to stability of Zionist and Imperialist regime. This way is the cheapest step to attack Islamic world inside. The dangerous enemies want to Muslim is not focused on Islamic Awakening. It is great conspiracy that implicated on social-political atmosphere that can divide Muslim. We must have consciousness to solve this problem. It refers to Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi statement, “Today, Takfiri Movements are the biggest problem for the world of Islam.” Refers to term of International Conference on the Dangers of Takfiri Movements, I would like to choose one of subject on “Takfiri Movements and their Political Consequences”. Then, the content of paper is First, Social-Political Consequences of the Takfiri Movements in Middle East is Supported by Zionist and Western Imperialist; Second, Social-Political Consequences of the Takfiri Movements in Indonesia is Supported by International Takfiri Movements; Third, Consciousness of Islamic Unity for Islamic Awakening; and the Last Chapter is Conclusion.

Radicalism has become one of the recent world problems faced by many countries, including Indonesia. The radical movement in this country is growing rapidly, especially after the reformation era. The spirit of democracy has provided opportunities for radical Islamic groups to express their beliefs openly and use religious symbols in their religious and social movements. This article aims to analyze the historical roots of radicalism in Indonesia and the factors that influence it. This article uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the study indicate that the radical movement in Indonesia can be traced from the tendency of groups trying to realize the Islamic State system (the khilafah) in Indonesia. This tendency can be found in several radical groups such as Darul Islam (DI/TII), Jama'ah Islamiyah, Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), Laskar Jihad, Laskar Jundullah, Laskar Fisabilillah, Islamic Defender Fronts (FPI), and Preparatory Committee for the Application of Isl...

Since the Reformation Era, various Islamic organizations or groups have emerged in Indonesia with different ideologies and movement models, such as Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), the Indonesian Mujahidin Council (MMI), the Indonesian Muslim Brotherhood, the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), and Jemaah Islamiyah. Most Indonesian Muslims do not warmly welcome their presence as the spirit of their struggle is not appropriate with the character and culture of the Indonesian people. They often use violence and even terror in struggling for Islam with the reason of amr ma'ruf nahi munkar (enjoining good and forbidding evil). So it is not surprising that the government recently dissolved the HTI and FPI. By using a qualitative approach, this study aims to uncover their ideology and movement model and the ideologies that influence them. From the data obtained from various related literature such as textbooks, journals, and the web, this study finds that these Islamic groups are ideologically influenced by trans-national Islamic groups with fundamentalism and even radicalism characters. They disagree with the Indonesian government system, which is considered secular and incompatible with Islamic values. They often use violence and terror to enforce Islamic shari'ah and even change the NKRI system with the system of Khilafat Islamiyah (Islamic caliphate).

This article aims to analyze radicalism movement in Indonesia from Islamic-Populism perspective. In various academic studies about Islam, radicalism is perceived as an act of violence and terrorism. However, the study of radicalism was not always generating both premises. Populism sees many aggressive measure perpetuated by Muslims against the authoritarian regime is also a source of radicalism. Likewise, the absence of Muslim representation in formal politics has resulted in violence. In Islamic countries, global caliphate and/or implementation of sharia, which have been claimed as the purpose of radical Muslims, actually is the strategy to free themselves from the authoritarian forces. This article will examine deeper onto the dynamics of power of populism within radical groups in Indonesia. This article argues that radical Islamism is deeply connected to local and global histories of Islamist movements. Through the perspective of Islamic-populism, it is found out that radicalism emerged from the spirit of liberation to free Muslims from economic inequality and political marginalization.

The first quarter of the twenty-first century has witnessed the rise of populism around the world. While it is widespread it manifests in its own unique ways in each society, nation, and region. Religious populism, once rarely discussed, has come to take a more prominent role in the politics of a diverse range of societies and countries, as religious discourse is increasingly used by mainstream and peripheral populist actors alike. This paper examines the rise of religious populism in Indonesia through a study of the widely talked about, but little understood, Islamic Defenders Front (FPI-Front Pembela Islam). The case study method used to examine the FPI provides a unique insight into a liminal organization which, through populist and pro-violence Islamist discourse and political lobbying, has had an outsized impact on Indonesian politics. In this paper, we identify the FPI as an Islamist civilizationist populist group and show how the group frames Indonesian domestic political events within a larger cosmic battle between faithful and righteous Muslims and the forces that stand against Islam, whether they be "unfaithful Muslims" or non-Muslims. We also show how the case of the FPI demonstrates the manner in which smaller, liminal, political actors can instrumentalise religion and leverage religious rhetoric to reshape political discourse, and in doing so, drive demand for religious populism. The paper makes two arguments: First, the FPI is an example of a civilizationist populist movement which instrumentalises religion in order to create demand for its populist solutions. Second, that as Islamic groups and organisations in Indonesia increasingly rely on religio-civilizational concepts of national identity, they become more transnational in outlook, rhetoric, and organisation and more closely aligned with religious developments in the Middle East.

Differences in views in the first precepts of the Pancasila version of the Jakarta Charter of 22 June 1945 became a genealogical factor that caused some Islamic groups to struggle relentlessly in realizing Islam as the basis of the philosophy and ideology of the state. Part of these groups' movements is compromise and radicalism. Therefore, this research aims to examine non-mainstream Islamic movements in the Indonesian political system. The phenomenological constructivism approach is used in understanding the views of the New Order and the Reform regimes in dealing with non-mainstream Islamic movements, through interview techniques and document analysis. These results showed that radical issues far exceed the normal level of Islamic movements in Indonesia. Furthermore, there is concern that certain groups oriented towards Islamic movements in Indonesia are more co-opted in the anti-Islamic global network sponsored by the United States and the West. The status of the New Order a...

There is an ideology in every movement. Of course, that ideology that constructs the pattern of organizational movement. This phenomenon is an assumption in this paper, and will be broadly elaborated . In particularly; This study will describe the genealogy, reason, and patterns of salafism movement in Indonesia. The reason why this study seeks to understand the theme because the movement of salafism in Indonesia has emerged dramatically. It can be understood from the acts of terrorism that occurred.
