Hats with the Cricut Hat Press

I had the opportunity to try out the new Cricut Hat Press and I had a lot of fun with it. I enjoyed choosing designs for the hats and then actually making them. I have tried making hats in the past and it was super tricky. Trying to deal with the curved shape of the hat was a big challenge.

Ukraine Shirts and Bracelets

My 9 year old daughter is one who feels things very deeply and is very sensitive to things going on around her. But even knowing that I don't think I really anticipated how much she would be affected by the war in Ukraine. Ever since she found out about what was happening she has been very concerned about the people there. She prays for them regularly and talks to us about it a lot. I know that she wishes there was more she could do to help.

Trellis Stripe Market Bag

Market bags are one of my favorite spring/summer crochet projects. It seems like you can always use bags, whether you are using them as actual market bags or reusable grocery bags, or to carry your latest crochet project, to give something to someone, or anything else you want to put in them, you can always find a use for a bag.

Nature Perler Bead Designs

It has been a long time since I have made some new Perler Bead designs. I was putting together some email newsletters recently, last month for St. Patrick's Day and this month for Easter, and I was looking through projects I had previously made for those holidays so that I could share them. I had Perler Bead designs for both holidays and it made me think maybe it was time to make some more.

Easter is only a few days away, but I thought I would share one last Easter project. These little bunny treat bags turned out so cute.

Crocheted Frog

My oldest daughter loves frogs and one day, after seeing another stuffed animal that I had crocheted, asked me if I would make her a frog. She wanted it similar in size and style to the other stuffed animal but she specifically requested soft, fluffy, green yarn. I didn't have any yarn that fit those requirements so I kind of put it on a mental list of something to look for and make eventually.

Another month is here which means another collaboration with Team Creative Crafts. This month the theme is Birthday Party Crafts! As usual this means that there will be a fun giveaway (and if you like yarn as much as I do be sure to scroll down to check it out), and several crafts with a birthday party theme.

Easter Egg Embroidery Sampler

I really enjoy embroidery and used to do it a lot more often. When I was in college I worked in a local consignment/quilt shop and I made and sold embroidery patterns. I'm not sure why I haven't done a lot of embroidery lately, but every once in a while I get the desire to pick it up again.

More Crocheted Surprise Eggs

A few years ago at Christmas time I did a 12 Days of Crocheted Stocking Stuffers Series where each day for 12 days I shared a small crochet project that would fit in a stocking. There was a variety of different projects included in the series, but one of the projects was a set of little Crocheted Surprise Eggs
