Currently...

Currently in the Southern Tier of NY

The Weather...35* but real feel is 25*, been raining and now it's snowing.

Listening to...nothing much. All is quiet on the northern front.

Thinking About:

--Ok, so I have to think about a potential new job position. It is the day after Thanksgiving. Unfort. HR and my friend Trisha in Receiving are not back in until Monday.  I am actually seesawing back and forth. My husband is pushing for the change.

--I did not take one photo yesterday. I got off at work at noon, hubby and son cooked and baked and we ate at 4 ish then headed over to nephews for dessert.

Feeling...tired. Day off tomorrow. IF I take the new position, my hours would be 5 am-2:30pm (M,Tues,F,Sat.)

Grateful...for family and friends and plenty of food to eat. ((grin)) AND thankful for each of you.

Enjoying...well...not sure of enjoying...but hubby has moved furniture and is getting ready to bring the Christmas tree up. Of course, that means dust bunnies are everywhere, sigh. LOL

Hornell's tree --last year.

Tomorrow is our Christmas parade and the tree will be lit. I hope each of you will have a beautiful day. I will be off to work shortly, luckily, it's only a 4 hr day.

  1. Glad you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving meal and dessert, Linda! Enjoyed the family gathering at my parents. Even happier to get home safe and sound; there were a lot of crazy drivers on the roads. While the new job position has set hours, would you like the people you will be working with? Have a good day. Thinking of you!

  2. Where will you be working such odd hours? Same Company? Well, where you chose to be, I pray it brings you prosperity, joy and happiness.
Our Thanksgiving was nice too. Steve always "puts on the dog" for the Holidays. He is such a wonderful cook.
We're heading out the door to help decorate the Church this morning. More hands make light work.
Sending love & prayers to you all. xx

  4. Glad you had a nice holiday. I am sure it will be a tough decision. Something to be said for a regular schedule and if it is not as physically demanding... I am sure you will come to the right decision.

  7. All sounds wonderful to me...and that new position...what do YOU think about the hours? At least they are consistent! But what will you be doing? Hopefully something where you aren't hurting yourself...Ok, I'll wait and hear about it when you are ready to tell. Happy Day after Thanksgiving!!

  8. I'm just home from work, was there all day. Our tree is upstairs and set up, but I need to decorate it yet.
Will be praying for clear direction on your job.

  9. Keep us posted on the new position. I'm not sure I could be functioning to be there by 5:00 a.m. Good golly! Stable hours would be nice though. xo
