cabbage

Growing cabbage need a lot of patient. They grow very slowly. We need almost 6 months to harvest a cabbage head!

I find growing cabbage in the pot is better than on the ground. Less pest attack. OPPPSss......hope the pest don't read my post today!

This cabbages are at the back of the garden. No full sun here. Cabbage seems to grow happily at this place. I have 2 green cabbage and 1 Chinese cabbage. Hope they will grow well and form a head for me to harvest in few months time!

Green beans for year 2015

This year I have started my vegetable seed sowing early. I have make use of all the vegetable bed in order to get vegetable harvest in full swing. That's my plan.....hope it will materialize...... ;)

Beans are climbing at different bed. Previously this bed was occupied by indian vegetables.

The plants have set some flowers and few beans. I need to do weeding.

How is your plan for this year planting season?

GBBD Feb 2015 and wishes

As usual this is the time of the year when everyone here in Malaysia wish for rain! At least a drizzle! It's been so hot here. I haven't seen or smell rain for past 3 weeks!

Gerbera single flower after so long!

I have more red collection of flowers in the garden. Just in time for Chinese New Year.

Plants really have survival skill! I only water then once a day. Some leaves have turn yellow but it overall the plants still look good!

IT's Chinese New Year Around the corner. Happy Chinese New year to all who celebrate and Happy Holiday to the rest in Malaysia. It's going to be long holiday here starting from Thursday! Have fun with the loved once!

Tomato Plant

It's been very long since i grow tomatoes. The last successful attempt was back in 2012 I guess. After that I have no luck with them. They wilt and die half way. I give up on them until early this year.

This is the single tomato plant in my garden. It is producing flowers now.

A single tomatoes can be seen too!

Papaya Seedling

Papaya have been my favorite fruits since young! They are packed with Vitamins.

I decided to plant papaya tree in my garden.

They are growing slowly. I hope Monkeys will spare them. In the past the monkeys always break and eat the young shoots.

I'm not sure if the plant is male or female. Hope I have few fruits to eat in future!
