Hands2Help 2018 Charity Quilts

Hello All!
It's that time of year again, that time when we link up our charity quilts for Hands2Help. I've again made two quilts for
Emily of Em's Scrap Bag who is collecting quilts to be donated to people undergoing chemotherapy.  This has been a favorite charity for the Challenge participants since the second year, and a whole lot of love and comfort has gone to them in the form of quilts over the past six years.  Quilty Hugs gives quilts to cancer patients through the Rack Pack, Primary Children's Hospital, and various chemo labs.  They are given to the patient for their own personal use.

These are the two quilt I've made this year.

I've linked up at Hands2Help. Click here to see what others have made.

That is all.

Half Inch Hexie Quilt Progress

Hello All!
Today I've given up blogging from my iPad and am using my trusty old laptop (remember I told you that lightening took out my good laptop?)

I continue to hand-sew my little 1/2-inch hexies together into a quilt top.  I now have 330 hexie flowers sewn together, measuring about 51" x 54".

Also sewing with the "It's a Wild Life" block of the month.  Here are my blocks to date:

Today I'm linking up with Midweek Makers sponsored by Quilt Fabrication.  Click on the link below to see what others are doing.

Needle and Thread Thursday and Hands2Help Linkups

Hi All!
Today I’m showing you the second finished charity quilt for the Hands2Help group which Sarah at “Confessions of a Fabric Addict” hosts each year.  There are several charities available on Hands2Help.  Below is the icon and clicking on it may or may not take you to the web page where it’s all explained.  I’m not sure if the link works so if not since I’m still trying to learn how to use this new blogging app. You may need to click on this as well.
Well, nevermind the icon. That just disappeared so click on the link above and maybe that will work.
Anyway, here’s the little quilt I finished.

I’m also linking my project today with Kelly’s “Needle and Thread Thursday.”  I still haven’t figured out how to make the link work by clicking on the picture so please just click on the link I copied below to see what others are doing on Thursday.

I know - What a mess!  I could do this on my laptop BUT, while recently visiting our little ranch in the hill country of Texas, a thunderstorm occurred and lightening took out my laptop so...
That is all.
