Needle and Thread Thursday

I want to blog more often. I don’t know why lately it gets away from me so I thought that if I joined a linky group from time to time, it might get me blogging again.  Today I’m linking up with Kelly’s “Needle and Thread Thursday.”    at “My Quilt Infatuation.”   The object is to show a finished work or a WIP. Well, I’ve certainly got lots of WIPs and this long-going project of tiny flowers made by English Paper-Piecing 1/2 inch hexies qualifies as a WIP.

Right now I have 295 flowers sewn together. The project measures  about 45 x 45 inches and I’ve been working on it so long that I can’t even remember when I started.  I blog about it occasionally so I’ll check my old blog posts later and see if I can find when I started this project.  Please click on this link to see what others are posting on Kelly’s blog.

That is all.

I am surprised you have gotten so many of those tiny flowers together. Less blogging = more sewing?
Surely you didn't expect this to be finished off quickly when you started ... unless you were making coasters.
Nice to see your posts anytime. Don't they say, "absence makes the heart grow fonder".?

It's beautiful! Love those tiny flowers.
I took a break from blogging for almost a year, I felt it became overwhelming. Now I'm back to it again and decided to blog once a week, on Sundays. So far so good! :) HAPPY EASTER!

I hope that we will see you more often. I love your hexies and have loved them all along. It's always fun to have an ongoing project to pick up and get reacquainted.
