Krafty Challenges!

This week the theme is:
RIBBON and TWINE!

We can't wait to see what you create! Just be sure to submit your krafty design for your chance to WIN! You have until Friday, September 7th to enter this challenge! Keep in mind, all entries are welcome but you must use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp in order to win.

Each Saturday a new challenge is posted and you can enter as many times as you like!!! And each submission during the month will enter you into the monthly prize drawing which will be a $40 gift voucher to spend in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps shop!!!

There's also a fun sketch for your inspiration for September! You don't have to use it but if you need a little extra kickstart in your mojo, feel free to use it any time!

Also, just to let you know...
Kimmie's Holiday SALE has been EXTENDED!!  Don't miss the SALE going on NOW with 30-50% OFF a large selection of stamp sets until September 3rd!!!

Now onto my card!  Of course I had to create something Halloween with one of the new sets!  This is the adorable boy vampire from Spooky Suckers!  He is colored with Copics.  I also stamped a sentiment from the set onto the image panel.  I incorporated both ribbon and (baker's) twine into my creation.  I also used this month's Kraftin' Kimmie sketch as well!  It was super fun!

Happy World Cardmaking Day!

Hello!  I have been doing a bit of Halloween coloring lately and in honor of World Cardmaking Day I thought I would share one of the cards I made.  This eternal beauty is Vampy from Krista Smith!  Isn't she gorgeous?!  She is one of the images that came in Krista's monthly subscription.  I am so glad I was able to purchase both the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 subscriptions!  You can still snag a few of Krista's image from Make It Crafty or from her own Etsy shop so don't despair!

Vampy is colored with Copics and framed with a chipboard frame from Make It Crafty.  The frame was also colored with Copics!  These chipboard pieces are so well-cut and versatile!  I used a variety of dies here.  The Drip Edge is Tim Holtz (Sizzix).  The Bats, Spiderweb Border, and Wrought Iron Fence are La-La Land Crafts.  The Graveyard Scene is from Spellbinders.  I added a few blood drips (cut from a Martha Stewart punch) and a couple of roses.

I get so excited for all thngs Halloween and this image was delightful to color!  One week into October and we are ready with costumes and decorations (which have been up since early September!  LOL) and pumpkins and ingredients to make tasty pumpkin spice confections!

Happy World Card Making Day!  I hope you had a chance to create something or share a project with the world!  Enjoy the weekend!

13 Days of Halloween with SBS: Day 9

Day 9 of the 13 Days of Halloween with Simply B Stamps is here and the time crunch is really on now with Halloween only 3 days away!  We were given less than 24 hours to complete this challenge, which is "SPLATTERED".  I was SO busy this weekend that I literally just finished and I'm now blogging it at the speed of light!

I chose vampire red with Bella the Vampire from the Halloween Steampunk collection.  This fatal beauty is colored with Copics and is matted on top of the Romantic Rectangles Nestabilities from Spellbinders.  The papers are Martha Stewart - Vampire.  I added a few flowers and a bling swirl.  The sketch is the latest from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge (#196).

Between a concert, the zoo, jack o'lanterns, and dinner for my youngest brother's birthday (my first time trying Indian food!) it has been a jam-packed few days!  And it's just going to get worse as I prep for my most favorite holiday on Thursday!  I baked my first batch of pumpkin bread today and I have more holiday baking to do as well as treat bags for Kayne's day care.  It is going to be an INSANE week!  I guess that means I should be off to get some sleep!

I hope you are enjoying all the Halloween creations here!  Only a few more days to go...  XOXO

Markers used: Copics (E00, E21, R39, R89, N0, N2, N4, N6, N8, Y28).
