Hi! It's been a while but I'm still here... And today is my 7 year blogiversary! I've been crafting away for seven years and sharing it all with you here! Thank you for tagging along for the ride! Except lately I haven't been so good about the sharing part... I have a bit of a backlog of cards to show off so I thought I would start with some La-La Land Crafts creations first!
The first card features Super Luka! Super cute, right?! I colored him with Copics and fussy cut him before popping him up with foam squares. All of the dies are from LLLC as well: Sunburst, Balloons, Star Border, Happy Stitched, Stitched Bracket Border, Happy Birthday, Hello Tag, Skyline Border, Bracket and Arrows, Stitched Circles, Bursts, Fancy Numbers, and Bricks.
This was made for a very special little boy and I'm told he loved it, which makes my heart happy!
Next is Marci with Tulips from the April Club Kit. I cannot stress enough how AWESOME these monthly LLLC kits are! If you haven't subscribed, you'll want to! Not only are they are fun treat every month, they are are an unbelievable value! I receive the kit that contains both the stamps and dies but you can opt for just stamps or just dies as well, depending on your preference. On this card I've used all of the dies that came with this particular kit as well as others from my collection: Tulips Border, Build-a-Tulip, Three Butterflies, Grass Border, Scalllop Border, Heart Fence, Filigree Corner, Small Scallops Border, Flag Banner, Hello Tag, Stitched Elements, and Stitched Tags. The Mom die is from SugarPea Designs. Marci is colored with Copics, fussy cut, and popped up on foam squares. Her dress and hat band are paper pieced.
And last in my trio of cards is Awareness Ribbon Marci. She is also colored with Copics, fussy cut, paper pieced, and popped up on foam squares. (Are you seeing a pattern here?! Lol) There are ample LLLC dies as well: Scallop Border, Love Owl Tag, Heart Header Border, Scalloped Banner, Double Stitched Squares, Flower Border, Small Scallops Border, and Loopy Border. I added pearls to the flower centers for a little something special.
Thanks for sharing my crafting and blogging journey with me!

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday: Anything Goes
Hello! I am SO excited to be sharing my first post as guest designer for La-La Land Crafts! I have the honor of participating with the team for the month of March and I couldn't be happier!
This week in La-La Land it is Anything Goes! I absolutely love all of the coffee themed goodies from the January release so I decided to color up Cool Beans Luka!
I discovered La-La Land Crafts in 2010 and fell in love with Luka because his sweet round face reminded me of my then 1 year old son, Kayne. I think Formal Luka was my first digital stamp and Football Luka was my first rubber stamps. Seven years later and I still use Luka for cards for my little man. Even sometimes when they're not necessarily intended for him. Lol He saw this Cool Beans Luka colored image sitting on my craft desk and asked if I was making a card. I said I was. His response "Ok, good, can I have it?" The next day when he saw the finished project he told me he couldn't help asking for it because he loves my cards. Awww! Bazillion dollars spent on dies justified! :-)
Head over to visit the La-La Land Crafts Inspiration and Tutorial blog HERE to see all the amazing creations from the DT as well as awesome tutorials. There are new posts for both weekly! Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day! We are hanging out with the family for a Father's Day cookout. My dad went to breakfast with me and my brother this morning too so it's been a day filled with yummy food!
I have two cards to share with you today. The first is for my son's father. Kayne specifically asked that I make one and I could not
decline such a sweet request. Kayne also made his dad a handprint canvas. The card features Star Boy Luka from La-La-Land Crafts. I love this little guy! He is colored with Copics, fussy cut, and matted on top of the Star Circle Nestabilities die with foam squares. Papers are Recollections - Comic Heroes. I also used my trusty Fishtail Banners Die-namics. I added a chipboard sentinent snd foam letters. The sketch is Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #186.
This next card is the one I made for my dad. This image, Papa and Me from A Day For Daisies, reminds me so much of my son and my dad!
The image is just so sweet! I have a picture of them walking just like this, minus the suspenders and slingshot! I cut it out using my Labels Twenty One Nestabilities from Spellbinders. I sponged the background with Baja Breeze ink and traced around the edge of the die for a bit of doodling. Papers are Simple Stories - Summer Fresh. I kept the embellishments simple with just a couple of buttons and die cut letters.
I am still blogging from my phone so be patient with me. I hope everyone is enjoying their day, celebrating with the special dads in your lives!

Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads out there! Today we spent the afternoon with my parents' and two brothers. My small man was in his glory surrounded by 3 of the guys he loves best in the world! We had Chinese take-out, played outside, went for a walk, and watched a movie. We spend two evenings a week with them anyway, but there is always something special about an extra day, especially when it's to celebrate the man who always drove me and my friends to the mall when we were teenagers, who picked me up after concerts (and even went to a few with me), and who, just yesterday, bought me an ice cream cone! And today he was attempting to teach Kayne how to hold a bat! It's all those things and more that make him an amazing dad and grandfather. I made a card for him this morning, and I wanted to share it with you.
I used Fedora Hat Luka from La-La-La-Land Crafts as my image. This little sweetie pie just reminds me so much of my small man that I always gravitate towards him! The fedora makes me think of Indian Jones for some reason. And my dad often says if he could have been anything, he would have wanted to be an archeologist. So I guess that was my thought process for selecting the image! lol Luka is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers, fussy cut, and mounted on foam squares. The layout is the current sketch from Card Patterns (#170). It was too fabulous not to use! I altered a Tim Holtz watch frame with some Tim Holtz gears, a chain, and a K&Company sticker. The sentiment was cut using the My Favorite Things Die-namic First Place Award Ribbon. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch and added a strip of seam binding.
We are home now, relaxing and watching Bambi but soon the lil fella will be in bed and I will be back to my desk, crafting. It's going to be a busy week of card orders and design team projects so please check back to see what I've been up to. There will be more from Tickled Pink Stamps and some Sassy fun as well so stay tuned!
I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
