Hello again! Just me again, with my third post for the day. Trying to get caught up with all my crafty stuff. I'm a little late with this one (missed The Sweet Stop sketch challenge (SSS151) completely), but I wanted to share anyway since Beaker is my favorite Muppet! This is the card I made for my best friend's birthday party last weekend. She threw herself a Muppet themed party. We watched the new movie as part of the festivities, of course! Fond memories of childhood! And it was very cool to share them with my small man!
The Beaker image I found online. It is colored with Copics (E11, E21, E00, E23, E25, E27, R20, R43, W4, YG03, YG91, B00, B37, Y32, Y35, YR04, YR07, YR15) and Prismacolor Art Markers (155). I kept my embellishments to a minimum because I wanted the fun chemistry paper (Jillibean Soup - Atomic Soup) to take the spotlight. I am proud to say he was well-received! I was also in charge of the cake. I contacted a local bakery (one I've used several times before for themed cakes) and asked them to work their magic!
Here is the resulting Muppet cake!
Here is a photo of the birthday girl, Michele, with her cake (and her drink)!

There were also "Rainbow Connection" sugar cookies.

It was a fun night! There was even an authentic popcorn machine (but I forgot to get a photo of it)! She has the best parties! I guess we'd better start planning for next year soon.... It's the big 4-0! MEEP! And for the record, it's a week later and I'm STILL singing that song: Mahnam Mahnam... Doo Doo Da Doo Doo! :)
Thanks for stopping by (again)! Hope you're enjoying your day!
