Shimelle Digitals Blog Hop!

To celebrate the one year anniversary of the Baker's Dozen, Shimelle Digitals Design Team, we are having a blog hop! Welcome! We're glad you stopped by.

Here is my layout I created. I am already getting into the Christmas Spirit so this layout was perfect timing!

I used Shimelle's Christmas Memories Page Templates. I love this kit! You get six different templates ready to go...all you have to add is your papers and photos! How easy is that? For the background paper, I used Shimelle's Wrap It Up Christmas Papers. There are some great papers in that kit.

You'll definitely want to visit all the design team blogs. We have some amazing designers on this team! I love working with these girls! They are such great inspiration. Here's the full list just in case you get lost along the way:

Karen M.
Kate
Taly
Dolly
Elisa
Yvonne

SJ

Anso
Sheri (you're here!)

So, if you didn't start from the beginning, just go here and visit Karen's blog and you can finish the hop!

Thanks again for stopping by and have a great Thursday!

Scrap Tiffany Challenge

I'm back with my reveal of my layout for this week's Scrap Tiffany challenge! The challenge this week was to create a monochromatic layout. I decided to go digital this week!
Supplies Used: Bazingle Mini Kit by Shimelle Laine @ Twopeasinabucket.com; Bow: Sunporched by A Teets; Ribbon: Ribbon Wraps No 11 by Katie Pertiet @ Designerdigitals.com; Journaling Tag: Seen and Noted Digital Printables at ShopEllesStudio.com

This layout is of my beautiful niece, Adoration. Isn't she just the most adorable baby? You can't tell I'm a proud auntie right? Anyway, I created the layout using a new digital kit called Bazinga from Shimelle Digitals.

I love this kit! It is full of gorgeous colors, beautiful butterfly brushes and a complete alphabet.

Tiffany has the final round of posting from the design team on the ScrapTiffany blog today. Be sure to check them out. You can always find lots of inspiration there.

Have a happy Friday!

Pinewood Derby

I thought it was time to share a digital layout with you. I recently created this layout of my nephew, Kameron. One of the reasons I love digital pages is that I can create them a lot quicker and have no mess to clean up afterwards!

I created this layout using some of Shimelle’s digital items and the new digital downloadable items from Elle’s Studio. If you haven’t checked them out yet, you really should. They are so fun, like all of Elle’s Studio products!

Background Paper: Starburst Mini Kit Papers (Shimelle Laine @ Twopeasinabucket.com); Negative Frames: Write It Down Series Negative Frames (Shimelle Laine); Numbers Overlay: Write It Down Top Ten Lists (Shimelle Laine); Round Label: Write It Down Aged Labels (Shimelle Laine); Vintage Letters: Vintage Monograms, Elles Studio; Woodgrain Label: Woodgrain Tags, Elles Studio; Round Tag and String: These Little Moments Kit (Little Dreamer Designs); Staples: Curled Notebook Paper (Katie Pertiet @ DesignerDigitals.com); Fonts: Century Gothic and 4990810, Journal, downloaded from internet.

I really like the versatility of the digital elements. I can use them either on a full digital page or print them out and cut for use on a hybrid page or project.

Hope you have a fantastic Friday! Everyone loves the weekends

New Release from Shimelle

Shimelle has done it again! Today a brand new release is up at 2 Peas. A great page template that includes a FULL alphabet! Isn't that great? I'm always needing fresh new alphas for my layouts and this woodgrain alpha is perfect! You can even recolor them to fit your layout.

Here's my layout using her page template:Template: You are Amazing Page Template; Papers: Springtime Basics Paper Pack; Journaling Tags: Write It Down Resolutions, Write it Down Cute Circles, all by Shimelle at Twopeasinabucket.com.

I created this layout of my mom. Isn't she beautiful? I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful mom. She showed us all the right things growing up and always gave us such a great home life. Any sliver of creativity we have, comes from her. She's amazing! I only have a fraction of the creative gene that's in her. Just felt like spreading some love to Mom today. (Maybe its because I haven't seen her in like, oh I don't know....THREE MONTHS.....my sister has taken her captive in California with the new baby and is not letting her come home. Well she's making a break for it on Thursday and she should be back home then.....sorry Sis!)

Have a great Tuesday!
