Case This Sketch #96 {Kindness}

Hi friends! It is time for a brand new sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch! I was pretty excited to use some new Stampin' Up goodies for my card! Yay!

I flipped the sketch on its side and decided to be a rebel! Wow! Life has been crazy insane and I have not been crafting as much. I have one swollen leg that I deal with on a daily basis but for some reason, it has been acting up REALLY badly. So after work, I come home and sit in the chair with my leg up. As a teacher, I really do not have time to "rest" but my body is telling me it must be so!

Hope you can play along at CAS(E) this Sketch!

The Challenge #9 {Kind Thanks for The Paper Players & Curtain Call}

Please Note: I will be announcing the winners for Challenge #8 On Wednesday.

Hello and welcome to The Challenge! Wow, what an amazing past two weeks! We loved all of the cards submitted and I appreciated all the wonderful comments left for the team! Thank you! This next sketch is one that is pretty open and the panels in the background can be sized to your needs...you will see the team all approached the panels in a different way! So have fun and let your imagination go wild! I was inspired to play along with The Paper Players-200th Challenge! Way to go, ladies!!! I chose Challenge #50-Kind Thanks. And the Curtain Call Challenge-floral theme.

Here are the measurements for Challenge #9...
Card Base: 4.25" x 5.50"
Largest Rectangle: 3" x 4" (or any shape)
Thin Back Panels: 1" x 4"

Happy Birthday to You {A Joy Fold Card}

I love this new stamp set from called Another Great Year by Stampin' Up. I borrowed it from a friend and I am using it tomorrow for a card class I am having. Of course, it has started to snow HARD and now I am even wondering if the class will take place at all. Sigh. But the snow is sure pretty!

This card is a Joy Fold card and you can see the instructions on how to make it over at Splitcoast Stampers! I changed the dimension of the top card layer from 3" x 8" to 5" x 10" to properly fit the large birthday sentiment.

I completed the inside with the sweet sentiment and kept it pretty simple. You know how much I love to make a matching container of some sort to go with my card and so I made a little teabag or chocolate holder. My friend showed me how to make this. Pretty sweet and easy too!
