Guardian Shields are Shields wielded by Guardian Scouts II within "A Minor Test of Strength" Ancient Shrines. They also have a chance to appear in Treasure Chests that spawn when the Breath of the Wild Series Guardian amiibo is scanned with the amiibo Rune. They were made with the Ancient Technology of the Sheikah.[1] They have the special ability to deflect the beams of Guardian Scouts.[1] Guardian Shields belong to the Guardian Gear equipment archetype.[2]
As they are made with Ancient Technology, Guardian Shields will float if they are dropped in Water. In addition, they will not burn if exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate, and they will not conduct Electricity or attract Lightning during Thunderstorms. They also cannot be manipulated with the Magnesis Rune.
