 Statement of the study :
 We choose this topic to study about flexible and
convenient payment options.
 In todays world the transaction are becoming cash
less and India adopt digitalization in payment
methods.
 Instead of just one way to pay, like cash, people’s
have choices.
 These choice might include using a credit card,
debit card, online payment systems like
Gpay ,Paytm or even installment plans where
people can pay a little bit over time.
 Objectives of the study :

 To study the various dimension of flexible payment


options .
 To study the consumer behaviour towards payment
method
 To understand the consumers preference towards
different payment methods.
 To study the common challenges Encountered by
consumers during payment
 Importance of the study :

 Research methodology :
 This Study is based on primary data and secondary
data.
 Primary data are collected directly from the
respondents with the help of structured
questionnaire.
 The total number of respondents in the selected
area was 100+.
 After finding out the respondents attitude factors
like age, education, income, occupation etc.
 The percentile tables were prepared and analyzed
an interpretation were made on the basis of
percentages.
 Limitation of the study :

 The area of study is restricted to only in


Sion , Wadala , Antophill etc.
 This study is based on flexible and
convenient payment methods .
 Also consumers preference towards
different payment methods .
 The researcher has collected the sample
from the respondents on random basis in
the study area.
 The period of the study was February
2024.

 Findings :
Form our study we found that :
 71% respondents are from age group of 18 – 30 .
 59 % respondents are male.
 50% respondents are from education category upto degree.
 75% of the respondents are students.
 51.4% of the respondents earn below 10000 as monthly income.
 63% of the respondents prefer cash as payment method.
 67% of the respondents use cash for daily transaction.
 47% of the respondents are satisfied with cash transaction.
 39% of the respondents using mobile payment from less than 3 months.
 42% of the respondents influence by security in their payment choice.
 61% of the respondents haven’t face any security issue.
 40% of the respondents will try new payment methods if it offers greater security.
 Conclusion :

 In conclusion, the study contributes to the understanding


of flexible and convenient payment methods among
consumers in Koliwada, Mumbai.
 By analyzing the usage patterns, preferences, and
satisfaction levels associated with different payment
options.
 The research offers valuable insights for stakeholders
aiming to optimize the payment experience and promote
financial inclusion in urban communities.
