CFA Exams
The CFA Program
A series of three exams (offered in English only) Level I, Level II,
and Level III must be passed sequentially

Enrollment Requirements
Have a bachelor's (or equivalent) degree
or be in final year of bachelor's degree program at the time of
registration
or have four years of professional work experience (does not
have to be investment related)
or have a combination of professional work and college
experience that totals at least four years. Part-time positions
do not qualify
If you initially enroll/register as a final year undergraduate
student with a degree in progress, you may not register for
the Level II exam until you have earned your degree, or
obtained professional work experience that meets the
programs entrance requirements
Understand the professional conduct requirements (you will be
asked to sign the Professional Conduct Statement and Candidate5
Responsibility Statement)

What is the Civil Services Exam


Civil Services Preliminary exam comprises of two compulsory
papers of 200 marks each (General Studies Paper I and General
Studies Paper II).The questions will be of multiple choice,
objective type. The marks in prelims will not be counted for final
ranking, but just for qualification for main exam.

UPSC Syllabus for Paper I (200 marks) Duration: Two


hours (Counted for the merit rank in the Prelims)

History of India and Indian National Movement.
Indian and World Geography Physical, Social, Economic
Geography of India and the World.
Indian Polity and Governance Constitution, Political

What is the Civil Services Exam


UPSC Syllabus for Paper II- (200 marks) Duration: Two hours
(Not counted for the merit rank in Prelims but a qualifying
Paper; just needs 33% marks)

General mental ability.
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of

UPSC Syllabus Civil Services Mains Exam


A candidates rank inUPSC Civil Service Examdepends only on
the mark scored in Main and Interview. The main exam has
1750 marks while interview has 275 marks.
The written examination (main) will consist of the following nine
papers, but only 7 papers will be counted for final merit ranking.
For the rest two papers, the candidate should secure minimum
marks prescribed by UPSC each year.

What is the Probationary Officer Exam


The Recruitment Examination for Probationary Officers to various SBI
Branches is considered as one of the central banking exams of the
country. Every Year, a numberof banking aspirants apply for SBI PO
Recruitment Examination and the competition level of only escalated

What is the Probationary Officer Exam


Phase 1: SBI PO Preliminary Exam Pattern 2016
Important highlights for the Exam pattern followed in the preliminary
exam are as follows:
The Preliminary examination is an objective type examination where
the candidates need to select one correct option out of given four
options.
The total mark of the exam is 100.
For every correct response provided, the candidates would be
awarded 1 mark and for every wrong response mark willet
deducted. However, no mark will be deducted for any response.
The test would be conducted online.
The total time allotted is 60 minutes or 1 hour.
The candidates should note that there are three sections in the
Preliminary examination which have sectional cutoffs which the
candidates need to clear.

What is the Probationary Officer Exam


Phase 2: SBI PO Main Exam Pattern 2016
The candidates who score above the SBI PO Preliminary Cutoff Score
2016 will be allowed to take the SBI PO Main Exam 2016 which will
follow a completely different exam pattern. SBI has made some
changes in the exam pattern of SBI PO Main Examination. Main
Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and
Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests
will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by
typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective
Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
The main examination of SBI PO is divided into two stages:

What is the Probationary Officer Exam


Objective Test:
SBI PO Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200
marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.
Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates
will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer.
Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will
be administered.
The objective test will be for 3-hour duration consisting of 4 sections
of total 200 marks.
The Objective Test will have separate timing for every section.
The candidates are required to qualify in each of the tests by
securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
For every correct response provided, the candidates would be
awarded 1 mark and for every wrong response marks will get
deducted. However, no mark will be deducted for any response.

Phase 3: Group Discussion and Personal Interview


The candidates who clear the cutoff score for the Main Examination
would then be called for a group discussion and personal Interview test
where the candidates will have to face an Interview board. The Group
Discussion will carry 20 marks and Interview will carry 30 marks.
