    fundamental knowledge of investment principles across all areas of the
    investment decision making process

    • Level I: Focuses on Fundamental Concepts & Tools for Investment


    Valuation and Management

    • Level II: Focuses primarily on asset valuation

    • Level III: Emphasizes portfolio management

    Each Level Exam is 6 hour long, divided into morning and afternoon sessions

    Level I:
    • Offered twice each year - June & December
    • Consists of 240 multiple-choice questions

    Level II:
    • Offered only at the June administration
    • Contains 20 “mini-cases” that describe investment challenges. Each
    item-set contains 6 questions based on the vignette

    Level III:
    • Offered only at the June administration
    • Contains constructed response (essay) questions in the morning
    session and 10 item-sets in the afternoon session.
