Applications are invited for the following vacant post in this Court. Appointment shall be made on merit. The incumbent will be entitled to draw pay and allowances as admissible to the employees of the Supreme Court, from time to time. Male or female candidates, possessing the requisite qualifications and experience can apply: Name of Post Data Processing Manager (BPS-19) No. of Post 01 Objectives of the Post 1. General IT Training:i) Providing and arranging for periodic training of all the Court officers and staff in the effective use of general IT resources. Software Development:Acquisition, development and testing of necessary Case Flow and Management software. Implementation:Installation of Case Flow and Management Software in the Court and its Registry and training court staff in its effective use; overseeing the implementation of the software and troubleshooting. Upper age Limit Second Class or grade C Masters In addition to filling the attached 45 years degree in Computer Sciences/ proforma, candidates must submit the Information Technology or following:equivalent from a University recognized by Higher Education 1. Procurement:Procurement and repair of the hardware and network required for achieving the above-stated objectives. Planning. Preparing and advocating for a medium-term and longterm plan for improving case management in Pakistani court system through the use of IT.

Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Software Engineering /Computer Engineering/ System Engineering or equivalent from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission. OR Second Class or grade C Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences/BIT (4 years duration) or equivalent from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission. ii) 12 years experience in Programming/System Analysis and Design/Preparation project proposals relating to hardware/software and networking specifications/Project Management and implementation including at least 3 years experience of IT Projects/Supervising Systems and Programming staff at a major Computer Installation. Ph.D and M.Phil degree holders in the above subjects will be preferred.

Applications on the prescribed proforma given below along with attested copies of the testimonials, CNIC, experience certificate, if any, and two latest photographs should reach the undersigned on or before 10.05.2012. Late and incomplete applications and those received without requisite documents shall not be considered. 6. Candidates already in Government service should apply through proper channel. 7. Only short listed candidates will be called for written test and interview. 8. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the Test/Interview.

Additional Qualification:Candidates who posses the following will be highly valued:(a) a visible commitment to the abovestated objectives and an ability to deliver measurable results; and a Masters degree from a reputed international research university; and a demonstrable familiarity with the latest developments in the fastchanging field of IT; and excellent communication skills in both Urdu and English; and basic familiarity with the work flow of courts.
