Class Room Polices
All the students are expected to abide by the DDIT code of conduct of students and senate
legislation of the university throughout this course.
1. Class Attendance: A student is required to attend all lecture class except for courses in which
earning of credits through examination alone is accepted. So that DDIT expectations for course
attendance should be documented in the course outline and students attend the class minimum of
85%. For further information refer article 82 of the senate legislation.
2. Class Participation: active participation will have additional 10% value.
3. E- Learning; students can take soft copy of teaching materials [ join the course telegram group
“Construction Management 2012/2019 ” ]
4. Academic dishonesty: It includes cheating fabrication and plagiarism will not be tolerated. Plagiarism
stealing or passing off as one's own, ideas or words of another, whether or not copyrighted. Plagiarism
will be penalized by the instructor according to the degree of dishonesty the instructor judges is involved.
Students guilty of academic dishonesty are subject to disciplinary action. Disciplinary action may include,
but is not limited to: reduction of a grade on an assignment or examination, reduction of a grade for the
class, suspension or expulsion from the University. Disciplinary action is conduct based on the DDIT student
code of conduct guideline.
5. Missing Assessment and Late work Policies: there will be no makeup assignments or quizzes,
or late work accepted without a serious and compelling reason and instructor approval.
