LESSON PLAN IN MAPEH III

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
● Identifies the beginning and the ending of a song.
● Demonstrates understanding of the basic concepts of music.
● Appreciate the importance of music

A. PREPARATORY ACTIVITIES

1. Drill:
The teacher sings and the pupils identify the title of the song.

a. ….ang mamatay ng dahil sa’yo.


b. Ang bayan ko’y tanging ikaw
c. …dala-dala’y buslo
d. …sa paligid-ligid ay maraming linga.
2. Review:
Clap the patterns using rhythmic syllables.
3. Motivation:
The teacher will present the song/video about the “Bahay Kubo”
Music video presented on the television screen.
Ask pupils about the beginning and ending of the music.
Okay, very good! Today we are going to learn about music forms. We
are going to identify the beginning,and end of the music.
Are you all ready?

a. Classroom Rules
I want you to remember our classroom rules. CLAP (Cleanliness, Loitering
is not allowed, be attentive, and participate in the class)

Musical Lines are the house of the notes.

Bar line divides the staff into measures. The distance between two bar lines is
called a measure.

Double bar placed at the end of a staff marks the end of a musical piece.
It separates two sections within a piece, or a bar line followed by a thicker bar
line.

Repeat sign in music tells us that a part or section of a song must be repeated.
A repeat sign tells us to go to the beginning of the musical piece and repeat from
the start.

Musical lines tell a complete thought called a musical phrase. Like a poem, a
song is composed of phrases. Like a poem, a song is composed of phrases. It is

shown by a curve ( ) line called a phrase mark.

For each phrase, the end of a musical phrase tells you to take a quick breath
before you start to sing another phrase. Songs are made up of musical phrases.

Now let’s identify if the musical phrase shows a similar or dissimilar phrase.
