cleaning your hands, and grooming. Maintaining proper
personal hygiene enhances one's sense of self, helps stop
the spread of diseases and infections, and improves
general health. It is a necessary part of everyday living that
supports mental and physical well-being by making
people feel clean, at ease, and self-assured.

Personal hygiene practices date back to ancient
civilizations like the Egyptians and Romans, who
emphasized cleanliness. In the 19th century, the
discovery of germs by pioneers like Louis Pasteur
led to the understanding that hygiene prevents
disease. Today, personal hygiene is essential for
health and well-being.

and reduces the risk of illnesses. For instance, regular hand washing
can prevent the transmission of pathogens.

Social Acceptance: Maintaining good hygiene is essential for social
