    1.0 SCOPE OF WORK

    1.1 General Description

    (a) The objective of this statement is to outline the work method for concrete repair works.

    (b) This method statement is to define the procedures to ensure that the proposed materials
    and workmanship to be used at the site are complying with the conditions requirements as
    required in the specifications.

    1.6 Construction Procedures

    a) Identify the concrete defective area & check the setting out line of the structure.

    b) Mark the area with spray paint.

    c) Hack off all the defective area by using hacking machine until proper alignment as per
    construction drawing/original structure.

    d) All the concrete dust left over is then washed away with water to ensure good bonding
    between concrete and repair material.

    e) Ensure surface is free from oil, grease or loose materials.

    f) To install formwork to defective area if required.

    g) Prepare and apply approved grouting material (Sikagrout-215) at the area as per
    supplier’s instruction (refer catalogue).

    h) Request for inspection (RFI) from RE to proceed the rectification works.
