4.1.1 No learning standard
This learning standard has been covered in Year 1 and Year 2.
Learning Objectives/Outcomes By the end of the lesson, students are able to:
Activities
Stage of Activity Description of Activities Content/Rationale/Reason
-The students were able to respond when I was teaching in front making
the learning process much more responsive. Of course not all students
were interacting with me during learning session I assume they were still
afraid to come up to me asking questions since the students reactions on
my teaching today were different in a better way than the first day I
started teaching them.
∙ Objectives achieved ?
- The objectives for my teaching today was the students able to use
the grammar Contractions and they surprisingly did well although
not every students implement it in their e-mail writing exercise.
∙ What went wrong?
- The students seem to have lack of grammar learning and need to
learn much more vocabulary. Other than that, a few students
were not able to understand what I taught on the grammar and e-
mail writing making me worried if they can catch up on what I
have taught them.
∙ Area for improvement
- I will focus on easier exercise to make sure every learners
standard in my class get to answer my questions. I will also
definitely find a way to improve the students writing skill first by
teaching them more grammar usage in the future to help them
have a better writing.
∙ Ways of improvement
- Since the students weaknesses are grammar, firstly I would
indulge a few of grammar learning first thing in my class even if it
is only for 5 minutes to ensure the students can write better than
it is now. This way can help the students to be more motivated to
write on other format aside from E-mailing.
