ACTIVITY 1 | THE WORKER
The Worker Work is on your way. Are you prepared to work? Do you have the
potential, character, talents, and skills to take up the vigour of being a worker? What
should you possess to become a good worker? How will you prepare for work
immersion?

My name is Rico Artiaga and I am a senior at Maslog National High School. If I

were to describe my life during senior high school, I would describe it in one word.
“Wonderful Time”. Wonderful time since I get to experience how does it feel
to be filled with wide range of emotions, expectation and plans. Fortunately,
senior year serves as my pivotal time for preparedness. And I can say that senior
year somewhat made me a betterperson and a more prepared student, and I hope
that it will help me make all those plans and dreams come to fruition. I think one of
the basic skill that I learnt, developed rather, at school is confidence. For the
upcoming work immersion, I promise to have thewillingness to learn things
and being open minded to new ideas. Being open-minded means welcoming new
ideas, arguments, and information that I typically do not align with.
6
ACTIVITY 2
After the pre-immersion orientation, list the Do’s and Don’ts employed in the
workplace you are assigned.
DO’S DONT’S
1. Do arrive early Don't bring your emotions in the work
2. Do be a real person Don't be late
3. Do enjoy your work Don't gossip
4. Do respect your workmates and boss Don't use inappropriate words
5. Do proper Don't ignore the rime
6. Do speak up Don't work ill

Reflection
1. Do you agree to the company’s policy guidelines, rules and agreement? Support
your answer.
Yes, I would agree with the company’s policy guidelines, rules and because these are
the foundation to make all things in order and helps us to fully understand the
importance of these work behaviors and rules also helps us to identify if our work is
running good and running worse. So these do’s and don’ts is a necessary must and a
proper way to start work.

2. Was there a rule that you think is not acceptable to you? Why?
No, none of this is unacceptable. All of these guidelines are a 100% very important to
workers who are just starting to work or to workers still working. This will change the
state of your work.
7
ACTIVITY 3 | Situational Analysis
CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE

Suppose you work in a police station or a law firm and signed a

confidentiality agreement regarding all their cases at hand, suddenly your friend who
was a suspect to a crime asked you for some documents that are in your office’s
possession that may help him in his case. How would you deal with the situation?

As I work in a law firmed and signed a confidentiality agreement regarding all their
cases at hand, and if my friend who was suspect to a crime asked me for some
document in our office that may that document will help her/his in her/his case. I will
not help my friend because as a professional
my responsibility is to do my job especially I signed an agreement regarding all the
case in hand so I must stand on what is right. Because being a good employee
means caring about your job and your company. Your personal relationship may not
involve in your work. Because if you truly love your profession you will always
choose what is right, you will not play dirty in your work no matter what happens. Let
the justice justify the truth, don’t involve yourself for the sake of others because at
the end of the day the truth always prevail in the end.
8
ACTIVITY 4 | Conflict Resolution

Did you ever experience disagreement and conflict with co-workers? How did
you handle the situation? How would you rate your skills in handling differences of
opinion? Please give an example that illustrates that skill.

Yes, I have experienced disagreement and conflict with co-workers in the past. In
one particular situation, my co-worker and I had differing opinions on how to
approach a project we were working on. I handled the situation by first listening to
their perspective and asking probing questions to understand their reasoning. I then
calmly explained my viewpoint and provided evidence to support my position. I will
rate my self 4.

ACTIVITY 9 | JOB INTERVIEW

A job interview is an interview consisting of a conversation between a job
applicant and a representative of an employer which is conducted to assess whether
the applicant should be hired. How you answer questions during job interview can
have a big impact on you being hired or accepted as a work immerse. Jot down
questions that you have come across during your first dialogue with the partner-
industry work supervisor or head of office you will be assigned.

It is critical to prepare for a job interview in order to make a good impression on the
company and boost your chances of being recruited. During the interview, it is
critical to pay close attention to the questions being asked and to respond honestly
and to the best of your ability. To properly answer questions during a job
interview, it is necessary to practice ahead. Prepare responses to
common interview questions by researching the firm and the position you apply.
When responding to inquiries, it is critical to be brief and to the point. Avoid
rambling or delivering excessive information. Pay close attention to the
interviewer's questions .

ACTIVITY 10 | Mock Job Interview

During the conduct of the mock job interview, do you think you did it well?
During the conduct of the mock job interview I think I did it well. Yes, I can say it,
through the guidance of our Almighty whom I asked for guidance for me to answer all
the questions with a pure heart and a sound mind. Questions were answered clearly
and accurately.

What are the areas that you think you are good at and areas that needed to be
improved?
I may say that I am determined, disciplined, flexible, honest, enthusiast and dedicated
person. Hence, I need to overcome my weaknesses such as overthinking, sensitive
and introverted.

Are you more confident now to answer during the job interview?
I am now confident to answer whatever questions they may ask on the job interview. I
just need to be true to myself and be confident enough that I can meet all the
expectations of the interviewer. I do believe that by taking all the advice given by my
teachers, this would equip me in the future.

ACTIVITY 26
ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

1 Week (FEB 19-23, 2024)

February 19, 2024 (1st Day)
On the first day of my Work Immersion I'm a little bit nervous and excited for what will
going to happen because i'm new to everything. Through this experiences, I believe i
become more responsible in everything that i do because it is a part of a work. I can
say that through this Immersion it helps us face the realities of being in a job and how
we see differently our careers in the future. I've learned also that if you are a person
needs a job you need to have a long patient to your customers. In my first day, one of
the employee in ayala lcc tour around us in the establishment. He introduced us in
different corner of the lcc, he also teaches us on how to handle costumer and give us
some tips.

February 20,2024 (2nd Day)

On the day 2 of Immersion, In Ayala Mall, LCC I am confident because i learned how to
serve people buy any kind of food and groceries . I also know the price of each goods,
and also i learned what kind of goods he/she wants to buy. In LCC on my second day i
know what position may i assigned, and i know what may i do in station, to organized,
check the price through barcode scanner, display the arrived stock in each outlet.

February 21,2024 (3rd Day)

I feel nervous and excited at the same time because I have given a job to display the
goods in each outlet. My job was so easy and I enjoy finished it. I am energized to
finish my job.

February 22,2024 (4th Day)

On the fourth day, I was asked to go with the other ojt staffs to fresh food that
surprised me a lot because I really had no idea of what we will do nor we are going
that day. And it made me so shocked when they asked me to do the tagging the price
and weighting the fresh foods That was an awesome experience for me as I
experienced the life of being a OJT and it was never an easy thing.

February 23,2024 (5th Day)

Our 5th day as an OJT I consider it as one of the biggest experience as that we were in
because today is the day that we mastered our duty. I also consider this event as one
35
of the most memorable experience of my OJT days, where we felt the pressures that
they undergone everytime we do a job because it was never an easy task, but I love
the experience that we had that day, because I was able to use my marketing skills.
Indeed, it was such an awesome experience because I finished my job ahead and
excellent. And that made the whole experience great.

February 26,2024 (6th Day)

Today is our 6th day, we were assigned to fresh goods. So for the time being, from
morning to afternoon we were all busy doing our own task that we didn’t had the time
to talk to each other much. And I think that is a good thing to learn as a worker. Each
and everyone of us realised how work can sometimes be assumed as soft and easy
work but it’s not. You have to have the ability of everything. You have to respect the
time and deadlines that was set.

February 27,2024 (7th Day)

Day 7 and nothing much have changed from our routine. Still on the fresh goods which
were assigned to me and my teammate.

February 28,2024 (8th Day)

This is the 8th Day of our on the job training. I got up very early and arrived at 7:00 in
the morning. I was one of the early intern to arrive but some of the staff were already
there so we just waited for some of my fellow intern to arrive so we can start doing
our daily tasks. We are now assigned at the non foods outlet.

February 29, 2024 (9th Day)

Today is our 9th Day, we are still assigned at the non food wherein I acquired new
skills and experiences. I enjoy doing my tasks and feel excited because 1 day more we
are done with our training.

March 4,2024 (10th Day)

At the 10th day of our OJT all I can say is the whole OJT experience was really a great
memory to remember. I learn that the most important is the attitude, on how to deal
with the other people, it is also needs knowledge and skills and analyzing the situation
or the task that has given to you. Need to learn from your mistakes, because mistakes
can make you a better person. I learn a lot of things in my ojt some of it i adopt and
apply to myself and some of it helps develop my skills and enhance my knowledge. I
was so thankful that i have my OJT in this hotel. I learn to be more patient in every
task that given to me, to be nice and humble in every person i interact and most of all
to love my work.

ACTIVITY 27
WORK IMMERSION HIGHLIGHTS

With no doubt, experience is the best teacher and work immersion truly proves that
work experience teaches individuals how to treat or make a decision in the future. The
experiences of working as a trainee at LCC was fascinating and the experience I got
was enough to mold me as I advanced into my career. As I commence the work
immersion, little did I know that tons of exciting adventure was about to begin. A
journey that would make you realize your career choices and the concept of working
inside a company as a trainee makes me gaze in amazement how these concepts are
applied in the world. During my work experience at LCC I was fortunate enough to
have experienced firsthand and learned, many different sides of what goes into a
company as well as how much work and detail goes into every stations and stages.
During the first week of work immersion, I was overwhelmed by the work and
responsibilities they assigned to me.
Overall, my work experienc at LCC Mall was positive. I was very happy with the
amount of things that I have learned and experienced in the 80 hours of being a
trainee with the company. I have learned a lot about myself and what I want to pursue
during my time here. I have pushed myself to do things I do not want to do, and I have
been introduced to knowledge that I never knew about. I have expanded my
understanding and have become more confident in myself, my chosen career, and my
potential.

.
37
ACTIVITY 28
MY REFLECTIONS
How did the experience change me as a person, and how will it help me in the future.

The lesson that I gained is how to be tough, have perseverance in doing the activities
that assigned to me. It is never easy to work. You must have perseverance, diligence,
a love of your work, and, most importantly, knowledge of interaction. Despite
yourdifficulties, you must perform your duties as an employee. I learned a lotduring
my work immersion that I will certainly bring and use sooner or later.Among those
things is that, regardless of all the duties, you ought to continueand complete those
because it's your responsibility that you need to obey anddo.Work immersion
sharpened my expertise in my chosen field. Throughwork immersion, I was able to
explore and socialize with individuals withdifferent personalities, learn about the ideal
of my career path, and mostnotably, enhance my abilities in my desired career with the
hustle,
