School Department APP 007 & STM 009 FINAL DEFENSE

OBJECTIVE: The oral defence provides the Grade 12 students with an opportunity to
discuss their research directly with the APP 007 and STM 009 (for STEM students),
Major subject and Statistics teachers who have been appointed as their examiners and
who will help them establish stronger ties and networks across their field of study.

Here are the set schedule for the Final Defense from March 19-20, 2024 (ROOM IS
TBA):

WHAT TO PREPARE IN YOUR PROPOSAL DEFENSE


1. Prepare your formal attire.
2. Clean cut/hair tied.
3. Bring index cards and name tags only.
4. No reading!
5. Prepare 3 copies of your paper to be presented to the Panel.
(Cover Page, Abstract, Chapter 1-5 with your references and Survey Questionnaire.)
6. Prepare 1 complete copy of your paper from Cover Page to Appendices. (for
checking)

8. GUIDELINES FOR POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

● The presenter should discuss what the background of the study is. Make it brief.

● The presenter should briefly discuss the theories used in the study.
C. Schematic Diagram
● The presenter should clearly distinct the variables in the study.
