    Unit 32

    Benny wants to try a new hobby: juggling.


    He has a calendar with a new hobby/challenge for each day. He’s practicing outside because
    it’s dangerous to practice in the apartment: he might break something.

    a. His head hurts, your forehead is hot, get a thermometer reading
    b. You can take an aspirin/a painkiller, you can take a nap, you can lie down

    a. His stomach hurts

    d. You can go to the bathroom, take some medicine

    There are different ways to compare one or more things.
    Superiority: much/a lot more + adjective + than => A is a lot more expensive than B.
    Equality: the same as, as + adjective + as => A is the same as B.
    Inferiority: not as/so + adjective + as => A is not as big as B.
    It is possible to use comparatives with nouns.
    More/less + noun => He has more money than we thought.
    It is common to use the superlative with the present perfect => It's the best restaurant
    I've ever been to!

    Shen is smarter than Benny.
    Benny isn’t as smart as Shen.
    Shen is more intelligent than Benny.

    London is wetter than NY
    Lyon / Paris
    Lyon is smaller than Paris.
