The master and the terminal manager, or their representatives should complete the checklist jointly. The
safety of the operations requires that all questions should be answered affirmatively, and boxes ticked. If
this is not possible the reason to be given, and agreement to be reached upon precautions to be taken
between ship and terminal. If the question is not applicable write “N/A”, explaining why if appropriate.
