COURSE DESCRIPTIVE TITLE : Team Sports-Volleyball
COURSE PRE-REQUISITE : PATHFit 1 and PATHFit 2
CREDIT UNITS : 2 units
NO. OF HOURS : 2 hours a week or 36 hours a semester

COURSE DESCRIPTION : Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Players move the ball by passing, setting, hitting,
blocking, digging, and serving. In this course, the learners will be able to, (1) integrate footwork with ball control and handling skills
through prescribed drills; (2) analyze game tactics in terms of defense and offense based on their knowledge of the rules of the game;
and (3) achieve their personal fitness and physical activity goals by engaging in prescribed moderate-to-vigorous physical activity
(MVPAs) regularly. (CMO No. 40 s. 2021)
