REPORTED SPEECH

Se u liza cuando le decimos a alguien lo que dijo otra persona y hay dos pos:
- Directo —> Nicholas said, "I'm really red"
- Indirecto —> Nicholas said (that) he was red.

1. Statements
Estructura:
1. U lizamos SAY cuando no necesitamos un objeto: Say + (that) + subject + verb
Ej: "I'm happy!" —> She said (that) she was happy.
2. U lizamos TELL cuando tenemos un objeto: tell + object + (that) + subject + verb
Ej: "I'm happy!" —> She told me (that) she was happy.

IMPORTANTE: Es importante cambiar el pronombre del es lo directo al indirecto


Ej: “I enjoy working in my garden” said Bob —> Bod said that he enjoyed in his garden

2. Orders and commands


- Los u lizamos cuando en el es lo directo damos una orden
Ej: “stop speaking in class”, the teacher said —> She told me to spop speaking in class
- Solamente tenemos que cambiar el empo, persona y lugar pero el verbo se queda en in ni vo

ESTRUCTURA:

- Se comporta con los mismos cambios que un reported speech es lo indirecto
