PROCESSING

Read carefully and answer the following questions based on what you have observed in

class.

1. In what part of the instructional plan can teachers apply HOTS?

Teachers may use HOTS to help students strengthen their critical thinking

abilities during class discussion by asking and answering that focus on the “How and

Why?”

2. How can HOTS improve the students’ learning?

When students use higher-order thinking skills/abilities, they are able to solve

difficulties and questions in in the classroom or in a learning environment more quickly

and successfully. Because their professor has previously perfected the HOTS, which

mode them sharp-minded people capable of thinking and discussing topics and

situations, students grew more engaged in oral involvement that needed explanation

and justification.

3. How important is creative and critical thinking in the 21 st century workplace?

Critical and innovative thinkers contribute greatly to organizations bottom line.

These workers are exceptional in problem solving, communication and creative thinking

are essential for a company’s success because it allows them to connect concepts,

assess claims, discover faults, and work though difficult challenges.

4. What are the things that teachers need to improve on to enrich the students’ HOTS?

Reading, viewing, and listening to content that might help ones own critical

thinking abilities is one way educators can profit from critical and analytic thinking. In

this context teachers may use what they have seen or read to help students develop

higher-order thinking skills that they may subsequently teach and share with their

classmates.

REFLECTION

Complete the following:

1. I realized that
Teaching pupils to think critically, creativity, and in other higher-order ways is

vital for instructors because it helps students learn. Teachers cannot provide what they

do not process, so if they do not process higher-order thinking capabilities like critical

thinking, they cannot assist pupils in developing these talents. On the other hand, if they

are aware of and process such skills, they could instruct their students on how to

cultivate and hold them so that they grow into better people and have advantage over

their peers.

2. I believe that

Higher-order thinking abilities, such as critical and creative thinking enable

people to achieve for more in life. When confronted with issues in the classroom with

issues in the classroom or in everyday life, these abilities allow you to think critically and

creatively. Where presented with HOTS queries from your teachers, for example, you

can apply critical and creative thinking.

3. I feel that

We will fall behind in class and on the job if we lack the ability to analyze critically

and creatively, among other higher-order thinking abilities. I don’t think will be hurt if we

have these talents.

4. When I become a teacher, I will

Being able to employ higher-order thinking talents, such as critical and creative

thinking, will be vital for us as educators we deal with a variety of a thought situations. It

will be critical for us as teachers to be able to educate students on how to learners and
unleash these strengths in their academic accomplishments, particularly in difficult

subjects.
