Syllabus- is the the subset of the curriculum

Sheme of work- step by step process of instruction or procedure that

needs or expected to be taught in learner in a precise time of the school

Scheme of work- it’s like an organizer which a guide to the teachers

on what to be taught in a exact date or week.
- It’s like a school calendar which indicates the activity which is
planned in the whole school year.

teachers for them to know that the lesson are on time to be
delivered in the student.
Course of Study- for my own understanding course study is a

program taken by the teacher and student for them to expand there
knowledge and skills.

--Senior high who decided to take a different course in college which
is not the strand they take iN there senior high school year,
--- School leavers, ALS PASSER, high school graduate in year

were k-12 were not yet implemented giving them a chance to
enter college without undergoing to senior high school.
Characteristic
 Only few schools offered a bridging class program
 Additional subjects which is need to be taken as a part of the
new curriculum in the college of education
 Subjects offered for elementary educaton
 This program is set to be implemented in order to require
student having mismatched curriculum with that of the
course or program they pal to take in college

MY INSIGHT
What i’ve learnred in the curriculum development is the important of the curriculum. The
curriculum is the heart of the school system.Without the curriculum there is no existence
of the school.How curriculum defines by some of the great people in the field of
education,philosopher and phychologist.The curriculum is very important.
There are different words including,syllabus,scheme of work,course of study,

and lesson note which have different meaning from each other, I’ve also learned the
importance of the curriculum in the school.There are also different kind of curriculum.
For a future educator someday like me it is very important to have knowledge about
what is curriculum anfd how it develop. This kind og subject curriculum development
taught me a lot about the curriculum so atleast know i have my knowledge about it.
