I. OBJECTIVES
Content Standard : The learners demonstrate understanding of basic needs of plants, animals and
humans

Performance Standard: The learners should be able to list down activities which they can
perform at home, in school, or in their neighborhood to keep the environment clean

Learning Competencies: Identify the basic needs of humans, plants and animals such as air,
food, water and shelter (S3LT-Iii-j-14 )

Objectives:
1. Identify the basic needs of humans, plants and animals such as air, food, water and
shelter.
2. Appreciate the basic needs of humans, plants and animals.
3. Draw the basic needs of humans, plants and animals.

Value Integration: Taking good care of the environment


Peace Education Integration: Living harmony with the earth.
Learning Areas Integration: Math, ESP, English, MAPEH

Directions: Call a learner to spin the picker wheel. He or she will answer the following pointed

3. Do humans, plants and animals eat the same food?
4. Do people, plants and animals live in the same habitats?

Discuss the 4 basic needs of humans, plants and animals.
