    Good afternoon,

    As presented at the Board Training this past Saturday (11/12), any reported instance of bullying or harassment needs to be investigated.  Previously the law had
    allowed for director discretion in determining if an investigation needed to be completed; however, that allowance has been removed.  If a student, parent, or other
    adult uses the words bullying, harassment, or intimidation when describing a student situation (whether once or recurring), it needs to be investigated.

    I am working with the iLearn lawyer to draft an official update and guidance around this, and that will be shared as soon as we finish the wording.
