The user administrator will then place your request into idM. After your request has been
approved by the parties involved, you will receive a confirmation by email with your Covisint

After having received the email notification with your created User ID, you may have to reset
your password. If this should be the case, please follow the below process. If you should
ever forget your password, you can also follow the below instructions.

b) You will now be asked for a Security Question. When you are logging into Covisint
for the first time, the answer of the security question will be the same as the
question. Therefore, please enter the question as it is into the answer box and click
Submit.
However, subsequently, if you need to reset your password, you can still use the same
question / answer unless you set it differently in your account settings.
c) On clicking Submit, your password will be reset to an 8 digit code – the first 4 digits
of this code will be shown to you in the next screen. The remaining 4 digits will be
sent to you by email. Once you have received the email, please join the two codes
and use that as a temporary password to log into your account.
