SCHOOL TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PLAN ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

Technical Assistance seeks to facilitate in providing broad-based capacity building opportunities to the school to ensure the
effective delivery of services for the improvement of learning outcomes. Technical assistance is provided in support of the
organization’s vision and mission, thus encouraging everyone to work towards common goal.

Lipawan ES aims to maintain the school enrollment of 92 pupils BOSY to EOSY 2021-2022 and in order to do this various
preventive measures were undertaken. Home visitation is one way of doing this. Home visits lead to respectful partnerships
between parents and educators, creating the foundation for understanding and cooperation between home and school that is vital
to every student's success. Home visits are a more effective strategy because they bring parents and teachers together for a
meaningful conversation outside the classroom. For example during the visit each teacher and family member shares hopes and
dreams, expectations, experiences, and tools regarding the child's academic success. Once trust is built a partnership is formed
and then they are empowered to make the necessary changes for a student to succeed.

Another one is re-orientaion of parental roles and responsibilities.  This activity aims to ensure that all parents are informed
about the educational setup in this COVID-19 Pandemic and the new normal situation they have to embrace. Moreover, through
this orientation, the parents are expected to realize their role as active agents in the teaching learning
process, considering that learning will take place at their home.

Strengthening School-Based Feeding Program is also a way of preventing drop-outs in school. SBFP provides nutritious food
products and pasteurized or sterilized milk to undernourished learners. It aims to address hunger, contribute to nutritional status,
improve school performance and learning outcomes, and increase the cognitive function and academic performance of the
learners.

Linkages between schools and the community as well as institutions are a proven and effective way for schools to expand what
they can offer to children and provide more meaningful learning experiences making a real difference in the lives of children,
families, and communities.
