ECRM Replacement Manual for ZERO-BV
This document explains how to install the new BV, ZERO-BV, replacing with the existing HOTS-BV in
ECRM.
Note: The hardware revision A/F of Frontload kit or Rear load kit needs to be applied, in order to connect its
USB cable to BV. Otherwise the USB cable is too short to reach to ZERO BV.

2.HOW TO DETACH AND ATTACH BV
*. Refer to Unit Replacement Manual (D0004455) for the quotation part.
2.1 HOW TO DETACH Z-BV

(1) Withdraw Upper Unit from ATM.
(2) Detach UP-CBL COVER (See “3.2 HOW TO DETACH AND ATTACH UP-CBL COVER”).
(3) Detach UP-REAR COVER (See “3.3 HOW TO DETACH AND ATTACH UP-REAR COVER”).
(4) Open CS.
(5) Unplug the connector [BRJ1], []BRJ2] and [USB] shown in Fig.2.1.1.
(6) Unscrew the Screw1 (SP408Lx2) on the operation side (See Fig.2.1.2).
(7) Unscrew the Screw2 (SP308Lx2) on the driving side (See Fig.2.1.1).
(8) Lift BV in the arrow A direction, and detach it to from the operation side of Upper unit.
(9) Unscrew the Screw3 (SP306L) and detach BV foot bracket on the operation side (See Fig.2.1.2).

2.2 EXCHANGE UTR CONNECTION GEAR ASSY
(1) Unscrew Screw (SP408L) x2 and detach UTR connection gear assy from operation side.
(2) Attach UTR connection gear assy (item No.2 in SH.1), with tightening Screw (SP408L) x2 as in the following
procedures:.
NOTE1: After exchanging the UTR connection gear, please mark Revision A/O on Upper unit.
NOTE2: The old UTR connection gear assy detached from Upper unit is necessary when using with HOTS-BV.
Please keep it with detached HOTS-BV if you will go back to HOTS-BV with this ECRM..

NOTE3: When attaching UTR connection gear assy, insert the tip of UTR connection gear assy to the hole of
UTR frame.

NOTE4: Identification hole can be seen from the arrow Q, after detaching UP-REAR COVER, according to chapter
3.4.2.

2.3 EXCHANGE UTR GEAR
Check the revision of UTR assembly, and if isn’t mark A/G on UTR assembly, it is not necessary to change UTR
gear.
(1) Detach UTR unit according to the document, Unit Replacement Manual.
(2) Unscrew screw (SP408L) and detach Gear (1) (Type A).
(3) Attach Gear (1) (Type B) and tighten screw (SP408L).
(4) Lubricate Gear (1) according to the document, Lubrication Manual.
(5) Mark rev A/T revision on UTR assembly.
(6) Attach UTR unit according to the document, Unit Replacement Manual.

2.4 ATTACH ZERO-BV
(1) Screw the screw3 (SP306L) and attach ZERO BV foot bracket on the operation side (See Fig.2.4.1).
Note1: When attaching BV foot bracket, align BV foot bracket and BV frame.
(2) Attach ZERO BV to the operation side direction.
(3) Press it to the arrow B (driving side) direction and fix it. (See Fig.2.1.1)
(3) Screw the screw2 (SP308Lx2) on the driving side. (See Fig.2.1.1)
(4) Attaching the screw1 (SP408Lx2) on the operation side. (See Fig.2.1.2)
(5) Unplug the connector [BC], [CN2], [CN3] x2, and detach BRJ1-CABLE, BRJ2- CABLE and CN3-CABLE
(See Fig.2.4.2).
(6) Unplug the connector [CNF] and [CN1]. (See Fig.2.4.2)
(7) Plug the connector [CNF], [CN1] and [USB] to ZERO BV (See Fig.2.4.3).
(8) Attach UP-REAR COVER (See “3.3 HOW TO DETACH AND ATTACH UP-REAR COVER”).
(9) Attach UP-CBL COVER (See “3.2 HOW TO DETACH AND ATTACH UP-CBL COVER”).
M3: Driving torque: 0.6N m { 6Kgf cm}
