    ACTIVITY DESIGN

    I. TITLE : 22nd National Midyear Convention: National Academic League

    II. VENUE : Ilo-ilo Grand Hotel, Ilo-ilo City, Philippines

    IV. PARTICPANTS : BSA STUDENTS

    V. BUDGET : P243,100.00

    VI. SOURCE OF FUNDS : 164 TUITION

    VII. RATIONALE

    The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – Sultan Kudarat State University Chapter (JPIA-
    SKSU) is the local organization of Accountancy, Management Accounting and Accounting Information
    System students of this University and at the same time its official representative to the National
    Federation of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants.

    Furthermore, it is the only organization recognized by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public
    Accountants (PICPA) that will help in the betterment of the future accountants and accounting
    technologists of this country. It aims to help in the development of young accountants to be skilful,
    innovative leaders in the industry by sponsoring and supporting academic and socio-cultural activities.

    In celebration of these aspirations, the JPIA-SKSU expresses its desire to join the 22nd National Midyear
    Convention: National Academic League, thereby helping in the achievement of the organization’s
    objectives as stipulated in the organization’s Constitution and By – Laws specifically Article III
    Section 2 - 4, to wit;

    Section 2 To promote fellowship and camaraderie and solidarity among JPIAns

    Section 3 To uphold moral value and socio-civic consciousness

    Section 4 To serve as an instrument for gradual exposure of students to actual practice in business
    world and to the activities of the professional counterpart, the Philippine Institute of Certified Public
    Accountants
    VIII. OBJECTIVES
    1. To promote academic excellence among the students in order to help
    them deepen their knowledge in the field of accounting;
    2. To allow students to test their knowledge against one another in a
    friendly and competitive atmosphere;
    3. To help the participants discover their strengths and be aware of their
    weaknesses in different board-related subjects through different
    academic competitions;
    4. To promote camaraderie, familiarity and sportsmanship among the
    participants from the different regions; and
    5. To expose the JPIANs to different events conducted by the National
    Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants

    IX. METHODOLOGY
    1. Organize the participants who are going to join the National Midyear
    Convention.
    2. Coordinate with the SKSU – Tacurong Campus’ Authorities.
    3. Organize different events that will uphold the objectives set forth in this
    activity.
    4. Prepare the resources needed for the activity.
    5. Prepare the necessary budget and resolutions.
    6. Join and present the delegates in the 22nd National Midyear Convention.
