Chapter 6 Parameter Description

6.1 P0 group Basic function parameter

Lamp rated power Default value Relate to model

P0.00
Setting range 0.1KW~equipment max power

This function parameter is to set rated power value of lamp

For example: Model G5200-4T1417, lamp rated power is 16KW, parameter should be set as 16.0KW

Lamp rated voltage Default value Related to model

P0.01
Setting range 500V~3000V

This function parameter is to set rated voltage of lamp, correct setting lamp voltage leads to best performance.

For example: Lamp parameter: Power 6KW, lamp voltage 600V, parameter should be set as 600V.

Attention: There is error on many lamps, our power supply can adjust lamp voltage error within 10%, it will be auto-protected

when the actual lamp voltage higher than 10%,; When the actual lamp voltage is lower than 10%, our power supply will

restrict power output. If want best performance, we can adjust lamp to rated power, monitor machine’s output voltage and

reset lamp actual voltage according to output voltage value.

For example: Lamp nominal rated voltage is 600V, rated power is 6KW, actual lamp voltage is 640V because of the production

error, then our power supply will auto-adjust on the basis of 640V. Calculation according to nominal value, when the lamp

working on 6KW, working current should be 10A, working voltage should be 600V; Because of production error, actual working

current is 9.375A, working voltage is 640V.

7.4 Shield cable and wiring requirement

7.4.1 Shield cable requirement

To achieve CE mark EMC requirement, we must use shield cable with shielding layer. There are 3 phase conductor and 4 phase

conductor shield cable, if shielding layer’s conductivity can’t meet with requirement, add one more PE cable. Or adopt 4 phase

conductor shield cable with 1 PE in it. See following image:

To effectively restrain RF interference’s emission and conduction, shield cable’s shielding layer is made up of coaxial cooper

braid. To increase shield performance and conductivity, shield layer’s knitting tightness should be larger than 90% as following

image:

62
G5200 Series User Manual Chapter 7 EMC(Electromagnetic Compatibility)

Installation attention:

1) All shield cable recommended use shielding symmetrical cable and input cable use quadded cable.

2) Lamp cable and its PE shielded conductor cable (stranded shield) should be as short as possible to reduce electromagnet

radiation and reduce stray current and capacity current outside cable.

3) Suggest to use shield cable on all of the controlling cables.

7.4.2 Cable wiring requirement

1)Lamp cable wiring must be kept away from other cable wiring. Multiple UV power supply lamp cable can be wired side by

side.

2) Suggest to wire lamp cable, input power cable and controlling cable in the different trunking to avoid EMI caused by quick

change of power supply output voltage. Avoid lamp cable and other cable’s long distance side by side wiring.

3)When control cable must cross over power cable, please keep its included angle at 90 degree. Please don’t cross other cable

over UV power supply

4)Please don’t parallel arrange UV power supply power input and output cable and weak current signal cable(such as control

circuit) , vertical arrange it if possible.

5) Cable trunking should be in a good connection and ground connection, aluminum trunking can be used to improve

equipotential

6)Filter and UV power supply should have a good lap joint with system(machinery and equipment) and spray protection on

installation part, and conductive metal contact completely.

Attention:

At the installation site conforming to European CE standard and other places need less EMC radiation, cable inlet should be 360

degree high-frequency earthing to avoid EMI. Besides, cable shielding layer must connect with PE to accord with safe code.

At floating ground or high ground(>30Ohms) electric system, UV power supply can’t use EMI filter.

7.5 Leak current solutions

1) UV power supply output is high speed impulse voltage which will produce high frequency leak current. To avoid electric

shock or electric leakage fire hazard, please install RCCB on UV power supply.

2) UV power supply produce relative high current, high-power UV power supply moment leak current can be dozens mA, so

please choose more than 100mA sensitivity current of RCCB.

3) High frequency impulse interference will lead to RCCB malfunction, please choose RCCB with high frequency filter.

4) If install multiple UV power supply, every UV power supply should be installed with RCCB.

5) Factors influence leak current are as following :

◆ UV power supply capacity

◆ Output frequency

◆ Lamp cable type and length

◆ EMI filter

6) When UV power supply produce leak current and cause RCCB movement, please:

◆ Increase RCCB sensitivity current value

63
G5200 Series User Manual Chapter 7 EMC(Electromagnetic Compatibility)

◆ Change RCCB with high frequency restrain function

Use asynchronous serial and half-duplex transmission mode, only one side can send data at the same time between main frame

and slave, another side can only receive data.

11.1.3 Data structure

1) 4 type data transmission format to select:

① 1start bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no verification;(default setting);

② 1start bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, even verification;

③ 1start bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, odd verification;

④ 1start bit, 8 data bits, 2 stop bit, no verification.

2) Baud rate:

Six baud rate to be chosen:2400 bps、4800 bps、9600 bps、19200 bps、38400 bps、76800 bps。

3) Communication rule

Start interval time between data frames should be larger than 3.5 bytes transmission cycle(standard) and minimum interval

time should larger than 0.5ms.

11.1.4 UV power supply communication parameter setting

P0.08= 00XX,the unit is to choose baud rate, tens to choose data format;
