This course covers the basic concept and the opportunity to learn and develop the basic rules and skills of the chosen major sports,
COURSE DESCRIPTION offensive and defensive skills. Other purpose of this course is to provide learning experiences that will lead to the development of basic
skills in team sports. In addition to skill acquisition, the course will focus on how to plan and implement the four stages of skill
development in games through the use of extending, refining, and application tasks. Students will be expected to achieve an intermediate
level of skill in the selected team sports.
At the end of this course students will be able to:

3. Design team play concepts and strategies in mini-game play;

modifying and applying a variety of pre-designed games for use as application task.
