Different Sizes
For the different sizes simply follow the written pattern or YouTube tutorial using the
different size crochet hooks:
- For size 0 – 3 months use a 3.5mm crochet hook
- For size 3 – 6 months use a 4mm crochet hook
- For size 6 – 12 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook

Body
Make a slip knot, ch90. Turn your foundation chain into a foundation ring by working
a sl st into the first chain that you worked.
Tip: make sure that there are no twists in your foundation ring.

Round 1: ch1 (does not count as a stitch), work 1dc into each chain, work a sl st into
the first dc of the round. (90)
Round 2: ch1 and turn (does not count as a stitch here and throughout), *work 1dc into
each of the next 5 stitches, work 2dc into the next stitch*, repeat from * - * all the way
around, work a sl st into the first dc of the round. (105)
Round 3: ch1 and turn, *work 1dc into each of the next 14 stitches, work 2dc into the
next stitch*, repeat from * - * all the way around, work a sl st into the first dc of the

Top of the Romper

Top Border
Using a smaller crochet hook, attach the yarn into any of the stitches along the back of
the top of romper. I recommend going down 0.5mm in crochet hook size for all
borders. For example, if you used a 4mm crochet hook for the romper, use a 3.5mm
crochet hook for the border.
Round 1: work 1sc into each stitch around the edge, work 2sc into each of the 2 corner
stitches at the top of the front of the romper (first and last stitch of round 12 of the top),
work a sl st into the first sc of the round. Please see YouTube tutorial for a detailed

Right Strap
Using original crochet hook, attach the yarn into the furthest stitch on the right-hand
side of the top.
Round 1: work 1dc into each of the next 5 stitches.
Rounds 2 – 17 (16 rounds): ch1 and turn, work dc into each stitch. (5)
Tip: for longer straps work additional rounds of dc.
Fasten off at the end of round 17 leaving a long tail end. Thread this end through a yarn
needle, sew the strap to the back of the romper using the whip stitch.

Left Strap
Using original crochet hook, attach the yarn into the fifth stitch from the left-hand side
of the top.
Round 1: work 1dc into each of the next 5 stitches.
Rounds 2 – 17 (16 rounds): ch1 and turn, work dc into each stitch. (5)
Fasten off at the end of round 17 leaving a long tail end. Thread this end through a yarn
needle, sew the strap to the back of the romper using the whip stitch.
Bottom Border
Using the smaller crochet hook, attach the yarn into one of the stitches that was left
empty in round 1 of the bottom of the back of the romper.
Round 1: work 1sc into each stitch around the edge, work 2sc into each of the 4 corner
stitches, work a sl st into the first sc of the round. Please see YouTube tutorial for a

Fasten off.

Finishing
-Weave all of your ends into the inside of your work.
