Good morning! Welcome to our Entrepreneurship class!


Alam kong namimiss mo na ang iyong mga kaibigan, iyong Guro at ang paaralan dahil sa
kinakaharap na Covid-19 ng ating bansa. At dahil pinahahalagahan namin ang iyong kalusugan,
ang paraan ng pagtuturo ay tinatawag na “modular” kung saan tinipon lahat ang mga importanteng
impormasyon ukol sa asignaturang ito.

Activity 1: Think of three (3) businesses in your local area that you think are successful.
Try to select businesses that are at least three years old. Write down the name of the
business and the product or service they sell on the blank space provided.

B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson

Entrepreneurship is the process of designing, launching and running a new business.


It also described as the “capacity and willingness to develop, organize and manage a business
venture along with any of its risks to make a profit.

Entrepreneurship is one of the objective of K-12 program, to help students learn the basics of
planning and launching their own successful business.

Have you ever imagine yourself, having your own business?

Based on studies conducted by the Small Enterprise Research and Development Foundation (SERDF)
of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), there are ten(10) Entrepreneurial characteristics
grouped into three major cluster:

Successful entrepreneurs constantly set the things to be achieved and repeatedly find ways to
achieve them. In this lesson, we will identify the entrepreneurial characteristics in each cluster.
