    Holiday Homework for Summer Vacation 2020-21

    Class 6
    Subject: English

    NOTE: All the holiday homework should be done in a separate scrapbook.

    1. Learn all the chapters done till date.


    2. Learn all the word – meaning (glossary)of all the chapters done so far.
    3. Read the newspaper daily and solve any 5 crossword puzzles and paste
    the cut outs. You may use the crossword puzzles given in the Students’
    Edition of the newspaper.
    4. Cut any two interesting advertisements from the newspaper and paste
    them in your scrapbook. Then, think of some interesting article/ item
    and try to draft your own advertisement.
    5. Write a paragraph in about 150 words on each of the given topics-
     Healthy mind, healthy body
     Favourite hobbies
    6. Write a letter to your best friend informing him/her about your
    wellbeing during lockdown period, and also about the new things/ skills
    you learnt during lockdown period.
