LESSON PLAN Subject: English

Trainee: Topic or Theme: high frequency words, name


Shamma of the color, name of 2D shapes and write
Marwan the number from ten to fifteen this lesson as
one unit to prepare students for summative

Class: 1-B Date & Duration: 24/4/2020/ (45 minutes)

Trainee Personal Goals

In this lesson, I am working on how to be a professional teacher


such as, be on time, show respect and work hard because these
are important points to myself since when I be on time, I can
deal with everything easily without feel stress. Also, that helps
me to be confident with what I teach and how I transfer the
information to my learners on time because the teacher always
should take care of her lesson and focus on time management
to achieve the lesson goals. In addition, I believe that if the
teacher shows respect to her students such as, listen to them,
help them, and create a creative classroom environment that
helps students love their teacher and avoid misbehaviour.
However, I am working on how to avoid misbehaviour, so I
used positive, negative, and punishment reinforcement
according to behaviourism theory. Moreover, I will use several
methods of interesting writing activities that help my students
feel happy and confident while they work that also keep them
understand the concept of the lesson in an easy way. Finally, I
will reflect on my teaching what worked well and what I need
to improve and set some aims for my next lesson and
especially, develop my English language skills because it helps
me in my future as a teacher to feel comfortable to speak and
deal with my leaners.

Lesson Focus

On how to find high frequency words by looking at the text or


short sentence and name the color with of the shape. Then, try
to write the name of the shape especially, for high level of
students. In addition, they will able the write the numbers from ten to fifteen through working in
different kind of activities according to their levels. However, I think the learner's interest while they
work in the interesting activities that be more excited and helpful to them while they apply what they
learn with their teacher through working in their activity.

Lesson Outcomes

-Students will be able to find high frequency words from the short sentences and try to write short
sentence include high frequency.

-Students will be able to name the color of the shape.

-Students will be able to write the missing letter of the color.

-Students will be able to construct and count from ten to fifteen through using objects and try to write
the numbers by using letters.

I will make a revision on high frequency words that students actually know it such as, she, he, the, to,
said, and, an, my and me. Also, I will make revision on write the number from one to twenty by using
their whiteboard. In addition, I will show them flashcards include different kind of color, so they have to
say the name of the color and the name of the 2D shapes.

Low-level: each student will be given a short story so they should read it carefully and circle the high frequency
words. Second, they will get worksheet about the 2D shapes, so they need to follow the instruction of the activity
