NOTIFICATION FOR PG PROGRAMMES WITHOUT ENTRANCE 2019 - 20

Online Applications are invited for admission to the Post Graduate Programmes in Affiliated colleges of University of Calicut for the academic year
2019-2020 (except PG programmes to which admissions are based on entrance examinations)

All candidates seeking admission to the PG programmes irrespective of the Quota (General merit/Reservation/Sports/Persons with
disabilities/Kashmir Students/Tamil Linguistic Minority/Community/ Management) should compulsorily register through Centralised Admission
Process (CAP). The candidates who have not registered through CAP will not be permitted to take admission at any stage of the
admission process.

For Non English candidates applying for M A English, admission will be based on Entrance Test. The University will conduct the entrance
examination and admissions.

I) Admissions to Programmes which come under the purview of Centralised Allotment

Centralised Admission Process

Allotment to the seats under the merit/reservation quota is conducted through Centralised Allotment. Selection/Allotment of a candidate to a
particular programme to any College will be based on the rank of the candidate and the availability of the seat.

III) Mode of Registration

Mode of Registration : Online

The Online registration will commence on 24.05.2019 onwards and end on 29.05.2019.

The detailed schedule will be published in the website www.cuonline.ac.in.

The Online registration through Centralised Admission Process will be conducted in Single stage.

IV) Payment of Online Registration Fees

The fee for online registration can be remitted from 24.05.2019 onwards. Last date for Fee payment will be 29.05.2019, 1 PM

Payment of fee for online registration can be made only through e-payment system (SBI Online/Nodal Centers functioning in Affiliated colleges/
Friends Janasevena kendram/Akshayakendras).

2) Online Registration Fees:

For SC/ST :Rs 115 /-, For Others: Rs.280/-

Candidates should go through the Prospectus and Admission Rule for PG Centralised Admission Process available in the website
www.cuonline.ac.in carefully, before entering the registration page.

Important Note:- Application fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.

V) Eligibility for Admission and Index of Marks

Candidates registering their options, should satisfy all the eligibility criteria with regard to the academic qualifications prescribed in the admission
rules. Admission rules including rules for calculating index marks for admission to various courses is published in the website before starting of the
registration.

VI) Allotments
There will be Two allotments for GOVERNMENT, AIDED and UNAIDED COLLEGES prior to commencement of classes.

VII) Mandatory fee

After the allotment, the prescribed Mandatory Fee due to the University as detailed below will have to be remitted by the candidate through e-
payment within the time prescribed to claim the allotment. The candidates failing to do so will loose his/her current allotment and they will be
expelled from further allotments.

For SC/ST Candidates, Rs 115/- . For Others, Rs 480/-

VIII) Schedule of PG Single Window Admission 2019-20

Detailed Schedule of PG Single Window Admission 2019-20 is published separately in www.cuonline.ac.in

Note: The printout of the Online application and challan/payment slips need not be sent to the University , but candidates are directed to
keep the same with themselves and shall submit it to the colleges where he/she gets admission.
