WEEKLY JOURNALS

This is where you think about your FMP learning journey and development.
Don’t simply describe what you did - consider what you have learnt and how this has benefitted
your project. What do you need to improve?

THIS IS JUST GUIDANCE THAT YOU NEED TO ADAPT TO YOUR OWN PROJECT. YOU HAVE CREATED YOUR
OWN PRODUCTION SCHEDULES AND YOUR WEEKLY BLOGS SHOULD REFELCT THAT.

Week Seven – Filming

PLANNING

What did you learn from your planning This week from my planning I learned where all my location
this week? where and where I have to go to film and also how I am going
to get there, most f th places are quite easy to get to as I’ll
already he there for example I’ll be in Henley already for
college so I don’t need to go out of my way to get there. And
another place that I am going to is an abandoned garden
centre which is in ship lake and that is only one stop on the train
from Henley and it only costs £3.10.

What issues did you encounter and One issues that I encountered this week was one of my actors
how did you overcome them? cancelled on me this week so luckily I had a back-up planned
out anyways so I just asked the back up to be in my production
and they were fine with it

How did you ensure that you are I made sure that I had all my important Pre production done
prepared for filming? like my script, Location recces and my story boards so that I
could follow them as I was filming and also so my actors know
what they are doing. I also double checked with my teachers
to see if I needed to do anything else before I started filming
and the said that I was fine and ready to film

How have you ensured your actors I have managed to organise my cast and crew very well. The
and crew will be available? way I did this is I asked them when and what says they were
free and then once they had told me, I booked the days that
they were free and I told them what days I wanted them and
where they should be. I am doing a lot of scenes separate as
some of my cast aren’t free so I’ll have to do lots of different
days shooting.

How well have you been able to I have been able to organise my location and transport very
organise locations and transport? well and most of it is in Henley anyways so I normally ask my
actors to film for me in our frees and also if they can stay till 4 so
that we can film. I was able organise one of my locations to be
in Shiplake and it means that it is one stop on the train from
Henley
Are you on track for the week? If not, I am on track for this week so far but I think I still have one
how far behind are you? location to try and find

What work do you need to complete I will make sure that I do some work at home
outside of lessons to stay on track?
